I like that 2 link set-up you have. Better than stock and more than adequate for engine and use on the road - perfect. Some suspensions you see are gorgeous, but way overkill for their intended use, just something else to brag about and spend money on.

I love the look of the paint too! This truck was built to be driven! Great job!

I had a 62 and a 61 Apache, I didn't bag them, but I love the old trucks. People (mostly kids) now days don't understand the "Rat rod" look of rust and "as is" built. They'd rather take the 2010 ford ranger daddy is making payments on and tear it up, rather than build it from the ground up. Keep up the good work!

you said duel tanks?...not a big deal...i saw dual comps..is that what u meant??...anyhoo..go for the a/c compressor !!!they are switchable where you can REALLY pump that tank...if you bypass the pressure switch...most tanks will take at least 220 psi (depending) maybe even 260.. go for it!!..then hit the bags with half inch fittings and lines!!! you will really like that!!! be careful though...those older trucks will fark wit ya!!..?

Hey I have a York style engine driven on my 84 cutlass. It's definitly the way to go. Less noise more pressure. I'm running over 300 psi in my car. It's faster than some nitrogen set-ups. If I rev my engine to 2500 rpms I can fill my 10 gallon tank in under a min. No need for a big tank since it fills up so fast. I'm also running 14 inch air cylinders in the rear. So my car has a standing 3 wheel on air. Trips everyone out at shows

That's the stock trailing arm suspension. It works just fine. 2 links with a pan-hard stock. Just gotta adjust the pinion angle. It's not ideal, but it's damn fine.

thats sweet dude, im doing an s truck, handy how the older chev has those trailing arms, makes bagging easy. you need some slowdowns though, i use gate valves, that way you can control how slow you drop. i am using a nissan 300 zx rear for my truck, independent rear with disc and posi. ill post a vid soon

It don't look bad. The geometry could use some re-engineering like the upper control arms ahouldve mounted underneith the kickup, they should be fairly parallell to the ground. I say fairly because the lower and upper arms should come to an imaginary point some where in front of the center of gravity and somewhere above the roll center. at least he didnt use a goofy old jegs prostreet framerail kit. Not everyone has a mandrel bender for rectangular tube.(I found one cheap, need 2 learn it))

Put some pluggs with a small hole in them on your dumps to slow it down when it drops. Thing goes down way too fast. See if you can go and have that back half fixed. should only cost around 1500 and you won't have to worry about the back breaking. Then you can take it to shows and have some fun dragging it with confidence.
