I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for all of the great recipes. I do have a question. Everytime I make the bechamel sauce, I have a problem making the right quantity with the right consistency. The taste is fine, but the problem I usually have is when I am done baking, the macaroni is not held together. I find the consistency to be too liquidy. How can I correct this?
@vvrayavv , Thanks for your comment and liking my cooking videos. the only thing i can think of is that you are using too much milk in your béchamel sauce or maybe the other ingredients have too much liquid in them? maybe the tomato sauce is too runny? i suggest that you use this recipe, and i hope it works out for you to make one cup of white sauce:

That is so complex. My mother makes a tomatoy meat sauce (sautee onions, meat, add tomato paste, spices, some water to create sauce and simmers away for flavour) then she layers the plain boiled pasta in the pan, adds the meat sauce, another layer of pasta and then the white sauce only on top in a thick layer,( she also adds 1 egg to the white sauce after taking it off the stove and quickly whisks it in) after it's finished baking she broils it so it looks pretty for just a few seconds.

This looks like a great lunch for me!! Add a salad and I'm good to go!! I know you are suppose to serve this hot, but will it keep in my little lunch tote if I cannot find a refridgerator?? It woud be like for 3 to 4 hours.
snow, i think three or four hours out of the fridge should be OK but not in a very warm place to allow for bacteria to grow, the milk and the cheese get spoiled with warm temperature. i suggest that you keep it in container that has thermal to keep food temperature hot or cold, you know what i am talking about?
