Apart from Ryan Hart, yes, most of these players can't really hold a candle to the Japanese. But this video isn't a decent representation of how good they still are. They are good.

Out of the European players, at least Ryan Hart (Prodigal Son) and CCL are very good players. It's just that PinoAB7 is very unpredictable and Hayao is using Hugo, whose attacks are hard to parry. Hayao and Pino are making them look worse than they really are. I also think dimmusak is right -- Ryan Hart looks too timid and conservative, not on form.

You can see the diffrence in skill level from the Japanese and the European players. The Europeans are still good but the Japanese are just better! Pino's beating the best players in Europe like its nothing this shows we still have a way to go :(
