  • I have never seen someone open a package with such nervous excitement and enthusiasm!

  • @lizichell2 I do this everytime I open something from ebay. Just wait till I unbox my Marantz DP870 receiver. I might explode

  • A close friend of mine had that same Laserdisc Boxset. I borrowed it from him a few times, he also had the Definitive Collection on Laserdisc, I borrowed that from set him too a few times.

  • @Riddler95 I haven't got my hands on the Definitive Collection set, but I'm in the market for it. I'll get it someday. I'm getting an AC-3 Demodulator so I can watch then in glorious 5 channel surround sound

  • When you get your AC-3 Demodulator, let me know how The Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition Laserdiscs sound in Dolby Digital 5.1.

The DVD's Dolby Digital 5.1 EX mixes were very good but the first film had some changes made to the audio.

  • @Riddler95 I watched portions of the 5.1 tracks from all three of the movies the day I hooked up my AC-3 Demodulator, specifically the battle of Endor, Hoth, and the Yavin 4. I didn't notice a huge change from the DVD mixes but I felt the center dialogue channel was much louder and clear, and I felt the surround channels were used to much greater effect than in the DVD EX mixes. I think the Laserdisc AC-3 mix was more of a "look what we can do with 5 channel sound at home" mix,

  • be carefull with them they are materpieaces
