A new computer program had to be written for the CG wildebeest stampede that allowed hundreds of computer generated animals to run but without colliding into each other. And it took them nearly 3 years to animate the scene "Stambede".

*cries* This scene is amazing....one of the most powerful scenes in the history of animated movies. Everything is perfect....the animation, the voice acting, the sound effects, and especially the music. It gives me goosebumps (and makes me want to cry) everytime I watch it....it has the same effect on me that it did back when I was a little kid in the 90's. This scene is so powerful and is Oscar worthy. A Masterpiece. Here I am, 22 years old, and I'm crying. I miss this era of Disney.
