A little more about the composer Ezra Jenkinson. Born in 1872 in Hebden Bridge UK, he went as a boy to Leipzig in Germany to study the violin. After 7 years, he returned to Hebden Bridge where he lived like a recluse. He never visited anyone's house and never performed publicly. He died in 1947 a poor man after having sold his musical works to his publisher. Upon his death, his friend William Holt helped carry the coffin.
