I heard this song so many times in this store i usally shop at I thought it was the radio but when ever i go there i hear it over. So this voice and song got stuck into my mind everywhere i go. Thank goodness I found this song, I was driving on a busy street and almost had a crash trying to find something to write with. Finally got home a searched google 4 hours looking for matches "hotter than the water in the basement of hell" I remembered it wrong, but found him anyway. Now I am addicted to his verve and velvet voice. Screaming and yelling kids just don't make the cut. If you like this song/singer, look for Sarah Vaughn and Dinah Washington. I was fortunate to see Spencer here in Portland, Oregon a few days ago. His CDs are incredible, but he really shines live in concert. He's such a talented guy: GREAT voice, wonderful pianist, and very friendly and personable. If you have a chance to go see him, DO!
