3:15 LOLOLOL maybe they should show this video to the truck driver! see how the driver in the left lane moves to the passing lane to let traffic on on-ramp merg!?!?!instead of being a fuckn jew!
yes the car should of yeilded to the flowing highway traffic but the truck was a scumbag and could of been" driver friendly" and lane changed to let the merge happen.the truck was trying to be a scumbag trouble maker on purpose
@EddieErion929 haha alright well if you get all up tight about some one not moving out of the way when mergeing you should probly just ride your bicycle to work.
The nice thing to do is to allow traffic to merge, not knowingly force them off the road. Of course that doesn't give the moron the right to try and cause an accident. Also you notice for the "proper merge" segment, the driver of the semi actually moves over to allow the vehicle to enter?
You mean Just get up to highway speed and merge were there is an opening? Wow, that's a lot easier than riding to the end of the ramp at 60kph and stopping wonder why everyone else on the highway isn't pulling into the passing lane to let me take my time getting on.
you may think that the trucker should have not been following so close, so he wouldn't rear end him, but the truck appeared to already to be going the minimum speed, so his last option was to lane change to make room, which he did, twice. I hope that driver gets locked away for a very long time.
The person driving the SUV didn't put their signal on letting the guy know they're merging on. I wonder if the trucker guy would of continued to have driven the same way down the interstate if there was a signal showing. Anyway the SUV driver is a idiot as the video show's and needs to use their signal, everyone should!!!!! People who don't use their signal rather in a car or on a "motorcycle" deserves not to drive or "ride" in the first place. Take the bus if it's that hard to use a "Signal"!!
You nailed it on the head, and the key word here is merge - the on ramp is merging - requiring the person on the onramp to YIELD to the right of way. The Semi is in the right of way, the SUV is merging, which makes the person driving the SUV wrong on all accounts. Many will change lanes to allow the onramp to merge easier, however, they are typically not driving an 18 wheel vehicle.
@dfgibas The ONLY on ramps where the person coming onto the freeway has to yield is one with a yield sign. Otherwise ALL onramps are MERGE on ramps where it is up to the people ALREADY on the freeway AND the person coming on to MERGE!
@3Mudbone1 LOL. You need to go back to driving school and learn about the topic of "right of way."
"When entering a highway, drivers should attempt to merge at highway speeds, but if there is traffic on the right-of- way the VEHICLE ON THE RAMP must yield and stop if necessary.
That was truly stupid by the suv driver! Why would stop like that in front of a truck thinking it will stop in time? 80,000 pounds of truck means when it comes to a full stop from 65mph, it will have traveled the distance of a football field, possibly more depending on what he's carrying.
@vsiNgh420 The truck has the right of way....he's already on the freeway. It's the SUV's responsibility to get on the freeway, not the truck's responsibility to change lanes (due to their relative positions).
lmfao ive always wanted to do the same as that bus driver, "just a little more a little more" Bang love it. wether they were in the right or not braking in front of a very large bus doesnt seem like the brightest idea at the best of times
@kartracer6 The SUV deliberately cut the truck off and jammed on his brakes in an attempt to defraud the trucks insurance the video clearly shows that this was an intentional accident PLANNED by the driver of the SUV
Merge Rule: heading up the Onramp, Be accelerating to Freeway speed. these moron's who "Toodle" up the ramp at 35, right till they get to Freeway Threshold, "then Decide" maybe, "oh, i guess i'll kinda step on the gas a bit now........." are gonna get rear ended. Hard. maybe hospital time. "BE ACCELERATING". No "if and or buts". also merge courteously. look over shoulder, clear the way. enter in YOUR Slot, and don't cut anybody off. Folks, that's how it's done. End of Lesson
Drivers in Seattle are passive aggressive. They will only merge onto roadway doing 35MAX in a 70mph area and don't signal. But in other scenarios like passing, if you are wanting to pass, they suddenly find the gas pedal and try to block you in and will continue to drive even with other lanes to keep you blocked in. They also love to do unnecessary brake check flashing going down a slight downcline but on the uphill climb they will floor it and many times exceed the speed limit to keep ahead.
P.S. In your cute little tutorial at the end, notice how that truck driver changed over into the far lane to let the guy in-maybe that's why there was no conflict.
Here's to hoping that your reality show isn't as banal as your Youtube video. Who knows, maybe it's in the boring commentary or the yawn inducing edit-but something here just doesn't work.
And as far as legality of the merge; just because the law says that you don't have to get over-the golden rule says stop being a lazy cocksucker. While what he did was ridiculous and only hurt him, the truck driver is a fuckass for riding him until the end of the on ramp.
LMAO idiots, the driver of the truck did not change lanes or yield to the oncoming traffic in the first video, if you watch in the second, ON CAMERA the driver gets out of the way of oncoming traffic in the first he ignores the truck getting on the freeway and almost drives him into the guard rail, your truck drivers a dick head, and the driver of the suv is an idiot for trying to wrestle a semi, your both dickheads ... semi one did not yield for right away, video 2 proves my point
@RedPete95 Very true, its the same rule for joining any motorway or dual carridgeway here in the UK. Merging traffic has no right of way against traffic already flowing. The traffic coming from the sliproad (on-ramp) has to look for an empty space, they can't just push on. Its always up to the drivers discretion to be curteous in moving over to another lane to let traffic join.
@1ns4ne1d10t Huh? The law here in the US isn't like the UK then. Here in the US law requires that if you can get over to avoid an accident you have to get over.
@Kartracer6 In our UK highway code it says the driver of the vehicle should move over in the next lane to avoid an accident with a merger and doing this lessens the likihood of road rage but you don't 'Have to get over' by law. A lot of people move over in the UK but its always younger drivers. Old pensioners and lorries will often stay in the lane and not move. Lorries are not a problem, older people are more a problem. They speed up and sometimes deliberately prevent you from joining.
@1ns4ne1d10t Ya here in the states the law is written to say that if a vehicle can safely move over they must. Not quite written like that of course but it's the same concept. But it's like you said it's older people with the problems. I think alot of that comes from they think they are the most experienced drivers because of all their years of driving and they have to be stubborn. Kinda like this semi driver.
@Kartracer6 English OAP drivers are their own worst enemies. Our OAP's (Especially old men) will deliberately hog a wrong lane, drive slowly on it. Then when you try to overtake them they will suddenly race you in order to stop you from getting past them. Once they have sucessfully defeated you, they will slow down again to keep you behind and 'watch' your every move. If you don't have a fast car in your favour this can be quite problematic. This is why I have a quick car. Lol
@1ns4ne1d10t we got a few people here that speed up like that. You know video's like this and stories like yours are just more proof that to many people out there think they are the law. That if they don't like how someone drives they gotta enforce punishment to settle it. Sadly all it does is raises insurance, takes away more resources for EMS and Fire crews and police, it gets people killed, and at no time does it help the situations. People are just dumb out there.
@Kartracer6 Thankfully our pensioners are few and far inbetween and you don't see them often which is a godsend. They do worse things then that if you think the ^above^ is bad. Ours run people off the road, especially old males. I have seen them deliberately straddle 2 lanes, cut-up and run overtaking vehicles up the centre verges to stop them from overtaking. Its not uncommon behaviour. They do it to young men in particular.
@RedPete95 you realize the accident wasn't from the merge right? The car had already established position on the highway when he got hit. It was a rear-ending. It came from both drivers crazy driving
@RedPete95 merging traffic doesnt have to yield!! do u have your license? not in canada anyways. merging vehicles stoping to yeild on a highway is fuckn retarded. ANY cehicle in canada driving in the right lane merges over to let people on the on ramp in! and people in the fuckn middle lane usually even merge over speed up or get the fuck out the way to let right lane ppl in . this 100% truckers fault. but the suv is a fuckn idiot for doing stupid shit after!
Merging traffic in Canada has to yield to traffic already on the highway. People in the right lane moving over is a courtesy thing, and in some cases is not safe.
Highway Traffic Act:
106(1) A driver of a vehicle about to enter on an intersecting
highway from a highway marked by a "merge" sign need not stop
that vehicle before so entering but shall take all necessary
precautions and merge safely with the traffic on the intersecting
@RedPete95 in canada anybdy that didnt move over for somebody merging on the highway specialy in this case since he could of moved over... that would be consider extreme ignorant. EVERYBDY knows to move over for traffic merging onto highway (if they can) doesnt excuse the suv. but there both fuckn idiots....
@Milwaukeejinx98 There is NO requirement ANYWHERE for US to yield to YOU getting on the interstate, that asshole in the SUV was required to YIELD to traffic ALREADY on the interstate,
Learn the rules of the road, before typing to tell us how fucking smart you are, jackoff.
@kd5ful Oh an empty freeway it would have just been a common courtesy, the freeway was empty, the guy in the suv is a total fuck for attempting to do something like that to a semi for not letting him in.and like i said, the second clip in the video, the semi gets out of the way of the truck getting on the freeway in traffic, in the first he does not. Ether way the guy in the suv is a fag for trying to crash someone trying to make a living, Lighten up Francis
@TheDboy76 and once again another example of people who don't need to be on the road. Thanks for encouraging dangerous driving. Please turn in your drivers license and take the bus.
@TheDboy76 which is the exact response I would expect from someone who's obviously as primative as you. Obviously you can't properly construct a conversation any better then your driving abilities. It's people like you that need to be restricted to just busses and trains.
@Kartracer6 more like its the exact response you wanted, you prick wind up merchant get a life, you got plenty to say to people on here, you should do us all a favour and jump in your gokart and pedal it under a train
@TheDboy76 I love how little kids like you get so angry over people commenting on COMMENT BOARDS...I mean my god what did you expect to see when you looked at the comment board. LOL It's ok to comment on the video I won't tell if you don't want me to. Seriously though it's people like you that encourage the stuff that happened in this video because you encourage the trucker to ram the car.
Ray, by making the comment "how to do it (merge) properly" at 3:15 and applying that bit of advice to the scenario at 0:38, you are at fault here as well.
Even though you were legally in the right, you were wrong by failing to avoid the situation when the evidence you provided shows you could have done so relatively easy.
Wow! SUV driver was in the wrong all the way, in my opinion. When merging onto a highway, one has to yield to oncoming traffic, not the other way around! I am not a truck driver, but know they are not 'nimble' as it were, and they cannot stop on a dime regardless of 'air brakes', they haul a lot of weight that takes time to stop. I drive a small car and try to always give big trucks respect and a wide berth when I'm driving around them.
@banjocaleb No thanks needed, but you're welcome! I've been driving for a long time and have seen many things happen/almost happen with bad decisions made by both car drivers and truckers. In this case, by looking at the tape, looks to me the driver of the SUV made many bad decisions causing this accident. The trucker had no where else to go. In my opinion...
@DFE52 first off. It doesn't matter what the law is. If you wanna go by what the law is then the trucker was at fault because he rear-ended the car and the rear vehicle is held at fault, people need to learn to share the road and neither of these drivers wanted to. They are both at fault and were ticketed as so and even though the SUV driver had no right to cut him off that was still no right for the trucker to ram him it's really sad that we are more worried about laws than safety
@Kartracer6 "If you wanna go by what the law is then the trucker was at fault because he rear-ended the car and the rear vehicle is held at fault"
I would say, in my opinion, you are about 99% correct in this statement. In that small 1% area, there are those that try to cause an accident, as the driver of the SUV did, by slamming on their brakes obviously trying to cause the driver of the truck to jackknife and/or crash. What other choice do you see the trucker having in his position?
@Kartracer6 Oh! Just one more thing... Your statement: "It doesn't matter what the law is." I'd like to see you repete this statement to an officer of the law, if/when you should ever be pulled over, and see what your response is.
@DFE523 first off the SUV never "slams on the brakes" He tapes them then lets off and goes to the shoulder of the road. The trucker has 2 lanes available to him yet he chooses to move to the shoulder and ram the SUV. This isn't the first time he's done this either. Oh and yes that will work saying it to an officer. Here in Chicago I asked an officer if he would stop cars on the interstate because they do 80 in a 55. He said no because it's safer to let them blend in then one guy doing such
@Kartracer6 Again, in my opinion, it looks to me SUV hits the brakes pretty hard, but DOES NOT go to shoulder till AFTER the hit. Also, instead of speeding up after the brake, continues to slow down. Looks to me SUV lost a bit of control in it's 'hard' brake and and went to the right of the lane, but was in the lane. -- Perhaps you should stay in Chicago if you can get away with such things. The laws do count in other states, cops are happy to hand out speeding tickets.
@DFE523 a lower rate of speed then the rest is more dangerous. He instead goes after the slower traveling cars or the cars rapidly weaving lanes because it's a danger. The point is to keep safe not be within every context of the law. Oh and there is a law stating the trucker has to make any reasonable attempt to avoid an accident. Him blocking the SUV driver when he has 2 available lanes to move to is considered him at fault also, had they crashed there. But he also rammed the car at the end
@Kartracer6 "Him blocking the SUV driver when he has 2 available lanes to move to is considered him at fault also, had they crashed there."
Where does the trucker 'block' the SUV? Honestly, looks to me the trucker was minding his own business, doing his job, the SUV should have either sped up to get in front of truck or slowed down and got behind. The truck had the speed, the SUV did not. It is my understanding it is not mandatory for ANYONE to HAVE to move to other lane.
@DFE523 trucker blocks SUV at 0:31 LOL give me a break the trucker had all the room in the world and the SUV had very little space left, notice in his video how he was showing how to merge he moves over for the guy. And the SUV was far to the shoulder long before the impact. why is it the trucker goes left then back right again? Oh it's because he wants to do again what he's done before. Ram someone. Like I said safety is the issue here. Sadly your going by what the law is and not whats safe
@DFE523 it's fine you feel that way. Not safe but your entitled to your opinion. Sadly though it's opinions like yours that causes these crashes. I've seen people who had someone pull out in front of them and since they felt the other person was wrong they just drive right into the person instead of slow down to avoid it. It's these actions such as yours and this truckers and SUV's that makes the problems we have. Learn to drive defensively not aggressively.
@Kartracer6 Look...I've had times where I've misjudged an enterance and just ran up the the breakdown lane, then get over behind the truck, everyone makes mistakes. But I didn't rage and try to wreck the truck for my own error. I've seen where I'm not going to make it and waved the trucker on to let him know I see him and he has the right of way, and in merging, cars/trucks already on highway have the right of way. I see you waffle between what laws 'should' be observed and those you can
@Kartracer6 'ignore' or bend to benefit your side of the discussion. Everyone should try to be law abiding, is it always possible, no, it isn't. So, I'm done with this, you see it your way, I see it mine. Seems to me, if he were to try to swerve out of the way of a hit, truck could have gone out of control at that speed and closeness, hit SUV anyway, wrecked, endangering many more lives. I'm done! God Bless.
@DFE523 Oh yes, and after he goes out of control from a simple turn of the wheel a terrorist could be hiding in his trailer and blow up his truck causing the road to collapse and kill millions of people. Sorry but the opinion is this which is safer driving at the SUV or away from the SUV. Sadest part is all this could have been avoided if the Trucker had simply let him merge onto the highway and not started crap to begin all this. But that's what's wrong with people.
@Kartracer6 I LOVE how you contradict and lie to yourself over and over in attempt to sway the discussion in your favor but get proven wrong time and time again. Heck DFE523 has more brains than you and I and finished this discussion with those two comments of his. I will follow this lead and move on from this very pointless discussion with you.
@banjocaleb I have yet to contradict or lie to myself. Sadly if more people went thru the classes I've been through and actually learned how to drive there would be less of this. But sadly they allow just about anybody who can sign their name to have a license so we have drivers like this on the road. And people like you supporting their dangerous actions.
@Kartracer6 Whatever makes you feel better about yourself go ahead I'm pretty much done dealing with idiots who say they have education but dont know how to use it. Bye Bye this is the last you will hear from me.
@banjocaleb don't be to hard on yourself. I'm sure you got some kind of education. You just gotta look at this incident with neutral eyes, then take the history into effect, and then just once you know what to look for and how these machines operate you'll begin to understand the components and issues of these incidents. It's just I have more training then you it's not that your idiot
@Kartracer6 OK OK your stupidity has brought me back and I can not resist. You talk about seeing this from a neutral stand point, but you are still pointing the finger at the trucker, because of a past history. the truckers past history does not matter. No one does really know who this trucker is unless they do the research. I have seen these machines flip and cause more wrecks because a car in front suddenly slowed down on the highway. CON-
@Kartracer6 I have seen this first hand in front of me. If you want to tell the world that everyone is a bunch of idiots because they dont agree with your education go ahead. Anyone who sees our conversation and matches it with the video will decide. What I dont understand is this, Why do you continue to use I have education and you dont ploy when others dont agree with you. The moment someone disagrees you lose it. I have gone back and read your comments with others and I find it sad. CON-
@Kartracer6 My college education tells me to feel pity for you. You are not the first person I have ran across that has wanted attention so badly that he/she needs to find someway to get that attention. If you want to talk about anything else about this video or something other than this video you know how to contact me.
@banjocaleb You may have a "college education" but you obviously can't apply it yet. Like I said both sides are at fault so I'm not exactly sure where your not understanding that by accusing me of just blaming the trucker. Oh and yes history is a factor. I mean if the guy is in 6 or 7 rear endings in which the other driver wasn't braking and you find he is doing the same in this one you become suspicious. The court of law will take his history into consideration.
@Kartracer6 History is important but not everyone is even to going to bother looking it up. Everyone only sees this vid. Also you do realize you also used the education ploy and I said the same thing to you as you did in your last comment. I find this very amusing. Not against you or me, but at our comments.
@banjocaleb Even without history it's still obvious both drivers are at fault. Why are you so quick to defend this trucker for causing a road rage incident? I guess what gets me is why people like you feel it's ok for the trucker to retaliate because the SUV driver is driving not to your liking. To me we need to learn to share the road but to some people like you think we need to just crash people because you don't like the way they are driving. Great justification you got going there
@Kartracer6 After I made that first comment, I found the police report(when I find the site again I'll send you a link) and made the choice to remove the comment but then you made a list to me about what the truck which did not happen and stated that I had no education because you didnt like my comment or my comment didnt agree with you. So I decided to correct you. Is that enough justification for you. Also I ownly said the truck needs more road to stop than a car does.
@banjocaleb honestly I can't find anywhere that I said you had "no education" but even if i did seriously get a grip and let it go. I'm just hoping if you drive the way you defend this driver to drive then please stay off the roads because your a danger to everyone around you.
@Kartracer6Hate to disapoint you AGAIN I only mentioned that it takes time and large amount of room to stop or slow down something around 80,000 pound truck going around 70-75 mph safely for everyone around it which I state in my first comment which you make a list and the list doesnt stand up. I gave you my opinon and you took like a child being told no and took it as if I was defending him. I was correcting your claims. CON
@Kartracer6 Your no education quote from you about 3 days ago "Let me guess your another uneducated trucker". Then you tell me to stay off the roads because I correct you by what I saw in the video. You really dont have the credibility to make that statement when you are hooked on going off on people that go on here for either: fun, give opinions, or try to be informative(the jackasses I can understand). If you want to continue this I'm more than willing to help you understand you misjudgement
@banjocaleb so what are you? an uneducated trucker? are you claiming this to be true? if not then your not uneducated but yes you encouraging the truckers actions does want me off the road. I could be the most open and accepting person in the world to others opinions and I'm not going to support ramming someone because your mad at them and the fact you do just amazes me. I mean seriously you expect me to agree with you that the trucker was justified in his actions here? just not smart.
@Kartracer6 Have you even bother to read my comments completely? Have I made you that UPSET? As I have stated in my past comments I DONT support the trucker, I dont care who he is nor his past history. I CORRECTED you about your uneducated comment. I only CORRECTED you on the list you made to me which still does not hold up. All I have done is CORRECT you and you took it as if I was supporting the trucker. My past comment only stated that it takes room for 80 ton truck to stop.
@Kartracer6 You need to calm down. Again I dont support the trucker I only corrected you on your list anyone who sees our comment will see that, I'm sorry you dont see it that way.
Question: Why should I be MAD at all? I have not tried to make you justifie the trucker you are taking this way too far. Here is a message I got from someone who says that the message was sent to you also, quote from the message-"leave him alone he leaves you alone, take as you like this swings both ways." CON
@banjocaleb who's upset? If anything it's you getting upset and yelling about how you thought I called you uneducated. Seriously what does stopping have to do with this video? First off as far as I've been taught with out a overweight permit the legal weight is 40 tons not 80 you kinda doubled that. Even at that full weight it takes the trucker 40% more space to stop if the vehicle slammed on the brakes. So the fact he is coasting makes the braking irrelevant. Other then that your comment
Everyone one who thinks that the truck driver intentionally rammed the SUV has never driven anything that size or close to it. When I say that I mean a car bigger than a SUV. Semi Truck BRAKING on a highway very quickly is not a good thing, In the movies when you see the semi brake and the trailer moves side to side it and flip really does happen in REAL LIFE. All the SEMI's driver could do was hold the road as he was braking to prevent loss of control and hope the suv would move in time.
@banjocaleb you know...that excuse gets old "you don't realize how hard it is to stop these." Yes i do. I've investigated enough of these crashes and been educated enough to know what I'm seeing here. A few things remain a problem. A.) When the SUV is struck it is on the shoulder of the road meaning the trucker veered over to hit him, B.) 3 lanes of interstate were availble and the trucker choose to drive on the shoulder. C.) the SUV is merely coasting at highway speed he is not braking. CONT
@banjocaleb D.) At no point do you see the truckers brake lights illuminate until after impact of the Vehicle. Also some side notes. This isn't the first time by any means this trucker has been involved in an accident where he has rear-ended a car. He has numerous counts of aggressive driving and tail gating. Even one account of another trucker having a road rage confrontation with him. The driver by all means could have avoided this incident yet he chose to ram the car
@Kartracer6 For someone who has so called EDUCATION, watch the video and tell me where the truck veers to hit him all I see the truck veering not much but away from the SUV also heres a hint: semi trucks are tad bit wider than any car on the road. Another thing in the video when the SUV hits the brakes causing the SUV to reduce speed (psst the SUV brake lights did light up) how can you tell if the truck also hits its brakes from the video shown here.
@banjocaleb Ok the fact the SUV is 45 to 50 percent on the shoulder of the road and the truck is moving right tells me he aimed. It's obvious because at first he's heading left then for some reason feels he needs to turn right so he hits him. Also the SUV was off the brakes long before the crash happened oh just looking at the video you can see the truckers brake lights when it shows his rear cam. I neither know or am the SUV driver. Think about it why would I blame the SUV driver if I was
@Kartracer6 if you drive you would know hopefully that when you take you foot off the gas pedal you will slow down. And in the video where does the truck veer right, are you very confused about it because in the video the only time he goes right is when hes trying to avoid the SUV. The Truck lights do come on its hard to tell due the video quailty but they do.
Then if you werent the driver/friend, then why defend the SUV like you have before I even made my first comment.
@banjocaleb him. Both drivers where just as guilty for this crash and both drivers cased this incident. It just comes from seeing it enough and working with investigating accidents and realizing how things work. This semi driver has a history of these actions they aren't accidents they are stupidity. I blame both these idiots and feel both should lose their licenses and be taken off the road. But for the truck driver it's his job to drive and should be more professional in what he's doing.
@Kartracer6 To help you understand why I think you are the driver/friend of the SUV, because I know you are wondering. I went back and looked at your comments oh to do that you click the next button at the bottom of the comments just saying. I may not have the so called education and on the job investigating that you have in order to do your job, but I checked the video with your comments and still I am correcting you. BUT heres a hint for future use if you dont like comment once and move on CON
@Kartracer6 Con- If you want to continue this discussion I will be more than happy to. If I dont see a reply from you or one saying no more or something like it then you must have taken my advise and moved on.
@banjocaleb I'm not taking any advise and I'm not defending the SUV. Both drivers in this incident deserved to be ticketed and both need to be taken off this road. If you look into who this guy is you'll realize that he has a history of this. As for veering, look at where he hits the SUV. The SUV is on the shoulder of the road yet the trucker was at first at the left most part of his lane and moved over. I've had discussions with other people here too not just you...nothing wrong with that.
@Kartracer6 Again I have to correct you this is getting pretty funny. In one of your last comments you said the SUV was not completely on the shoulder and as for the truck veering right if it did its most likely when it makes contact with the SUV cause and effect. To Top it off the truck could not move over due to a car in the lane next to him as shown around 2:30. BUT you are right I dont know everything about the guy, in this case it does not matter what hes done in the past. CON
@Kartracer6 CON. It would be like saying you cant work for a bank because you robbed one in the past(this is true but this is just for an example) In this clip he does everything right on the road that I can tell, but to help settle your little spat with it find the clip which causes the SUV to do this to a semi truck, If you cant o'well. For having this discussion with other people you sure havent learn anything. So much for your education. CON
@Kartracer6 Road Rage is everywhere nothing you or I can do about it. If you cant handle the fact that the trucker did not get in trouble and that you dont like everyone eles's comments who dont know the truckers past thats between you and your shrink. Heres an idea though to make you feel better make a video response instead pointless comments(which I find very very amusing) hope to hear from you again soon
@banjocaleb Yes road rage is everywhere it's true and we can't stop all of it. But the fact you condone the truckers actions here just tells me sadly you are just one more reason it's out there. Not only does the trucker block the SUV from merging he also rams the SUV. Sorry but his history has everything to do with this. It shows he's done it before and will do it again. Also there was no vehicle next to him that blocked him from getting over. Find it funny he could get over when he
@banjocaleb wanted to pass the SUV but as soon as he wanted to block it or ram it he conveniently can't find space to get over. It's as simple as this. Both drivers caused this incident and both drivers got ticketed for this incident and both drivers are at fault. I suggest you not be any where near where I drive because people like you are the reason we have so many idiotic preventable accidents these days because instead of sharing the road you wanna condone these actions by the trucker
@Kartracer6 Like you have been doing. I'm sorry that you cant agree with the evidence in the video but make a video response to this video telling everyone about the truck driver. I know what the semi can and cant do. You want to know use the education you wasted your money on and research what they can and cant do. if you cant handle the truth dont bother getting on the road, you'll make safer for everyone on the road.
@banjocaleb You know comments such as "bother getting on the road, you'll make safer for everyone on the road" don't hold much credibility coming from a guy who is encouraging a trucker to ram an SUV because he doesn't like the way the SUV driver is driving. I can see the video, actually it's been the main source of my argument. Honestly I should say perhaps it's you who is related or knows the trucker since you are defending his erratic driving. Sorry man but both drivers are at fault.
@Kartracer6 Its funny your main source has been making you look like an idiot during the past couple of days. If you dont like the trucker then say it. I have given you the idea of making a video about the driver and putting it on this page as a video response and you wont take it. But to make you feel better I'll leave this page to you to waste you time making calms that wont hold up because the proof is the video. Now excuse me I have a life beyond making comments on a single page-CON
@banjocaleb why should I make my own link retard. Seriously the proof is in the video. Let me guess your another uneducated trucker who just sides with all truckers in each wreck. It would explain why unlike me who looks at it from a neutral view you would sit here and accuse the SUV of everything and call out the trucker for being innocent. Sorry man your wrong and it's simple as that the trucker rammed this car I mean seriously. The car is on the shoulder and not braking and the truck has
@Kartracer6 2 lanes avalible to him. Heres what happened. The trucker stubbornly blocked the SUV driver from merging even though he had 2 avalible lanes to get into. The SUV driver got upset and the idiot decides he's going to speed up and cut off the Trucker. This gets the trucker upset because the SUV just got him back for his incident so the trucker tries to pass the SUV 2-3 times but gets blocked (god only knows what the trucker would have done to the SUV if he got next to him) the suv
@Kartracer6 then proceed to gradually slow down as he got to the shoulder of the road. The most logical reason behind this action is he wanted the trucker to pull over and they would have a verbal confrontation on the side of the highway. What the trucker should have done was changed lanes and just passed him and pulled off at the next exit stopped at a public location and called the police...instead he decided to go to the shoulder of the road and ram the SUV because he felt that was the
@Kartracer6 right thing to do. Then people like you get on here and praise the trucker for these actions. Sadly both drivers had a part in this accident happening and even though the 2 luckly only got themselves involved and not some one else it still has a price to pay on insurance costs, legal work, and time the officer has to take that could be used for better more effective tasks. I have no intent to make a video about this if it bugs you so much then you make a video defending yourself
@Kartracer6 biggest point here is I see what there is to see. I find that 2 other groups are mainly on here. Those that only drive small cars and SUV's that all side for the Car driver because he got cut off but fail to notice where he cuts off the trucker and blocks him. Then there are those that drive trucks for a living that side for the truck because the car cut him off and blocked him but fail to see the trucker kept the SUV from merging and then rammed the SUV at the end. I'm neutral.
@Kartracer6 I dont drive semi trucks, but I know what they cant do like moving out of the way and stopping on a dime. There are some people who cant accept the truth, I am sorry that you are one of them who happen to waste their money on education you got from a crap college. Why should I defend myself for CORRECTING you when the video and everyone else who watches this clip says the same. Are you also stating that every person who happens to disagree with you is uneducated?
@Kartracer6 If you do think that are you a liberal if so your comments would help me understand.
To point out one more thing if you check uploader comments you will find how justice worked out for the trucker.
But you really want to know I mainly drive a 2000 Nissan Xterra(2nd car) and before that a 1994 Mazda 626(1st car). I drive maybe one or two days out of the year (for training) a vehicle close to the size of the semi but bigger than a dump truck. Cant remember what its called sorry.
@banjocaleb Honestly I get mixed opinions. A lot of those siding for the truck are truckers a lot siding for the car aren't truckers. Yes he can't stop on a dime and yes he isn't as flexible but honestly just letting the SUV merge isn't that hard to do...it would have prevented all of this. Also I know how justice worked out they both got ticketed. How about instead of checking what the trucker in this video says (Who has a history of this and would lie because he thinks he's doing the right
@banjocaleb thing) or you can go find public records. But hey with all your comments of how it can't stop on a dime and isn't flexable leave 2 things unanswered. 1) why did he veer to the shoulder to hit the SUV and 2) why did he find it quite easy to pass when he wanted around him but when he could of moved twice he found it difficult.
@Kartracer6 One he never did veer to hit the SUV but to avoid but couldnt because a car in the way of the trailer which can be seen. Three he did try to avoid him by trying to go around him but the SUV followed.
One thing we may never know however thanks to this clip is the fact was he trying to move a head of the vehicle to his left in order to or not.
The respones video I propose to you was not meant to defend yourself but to inform people of the trucker like I said in my past comments.
@Kartracer6 I really dont know what he said about this, I'm going what the clip shows. I do however find it funny that this clip has proven you wrong countless times and that was without the public records(which I have gone through myself after making that first comment and reading one of your comments to another post about the trucker was about to remove it.) What I do hope in the future you wont use the "I've got educated and you dont" n get proven wrong time and time again.
@banjocaleb the video has yet to prove me wrong. First off at no point was a car blocking him from getting over. I realize you only see what you want. There are glares from the head lights but you will notice they are very far back because of how long it takes that vehicle to get to the trucker. Once again I state you need to stay off the roads because of people like you encouraging these actions you merely are one more reason so many crashes happen.
@Kartracer6 Aganist someone who has been here for about almost two months. Now excuse me I have to go back to reality of the world. bye bye and hope you gain something out of this.
@Kartracer6 I didnt realize this until after I posted that last comment that THIS came to mind. You are either (A) the friend of the idiot(SUV) and being a good friend and defend him or (B) YOU ARE THE IDIOT IN THE SUV. Option B would make sense, because you use the education ploy. IF you are not A or B please just use that was one of many things given to us by god and use common sense before posting youtube clips, so you wont get corrected by someone like me all the time. Continued
@Kartracer6 To make you feel better I WAS going to correct you again with that last post but I thought to be nice and have you figure what else you got wrong. bye bye have a nice day
@thedarkhenrik What are you talking about? The SUV never tried to stop him just annoy him. It's the trucker who intentionally rammed him. Both of them are maniac's that only thought about themselves and not the other innocent lives around them. The perfect result of this would have been both of them losing their driving privlages
First driver of the SUV didnt yield right of way when coming on to highway... Entering vehicle ALWAYS has to yield right of way to vehicles already on highway... Driver of SUV is 100% in the wrong, and truck driver handled it properly by attempting to avoid the situation...
@1Masterofwar yes Ramming a car and blocking it from mergine was so the proper way to handle this situation. Sorry but if he would have handled the situation properly there would have been no wreck here.
@Kartracer6 The truck couldnt move over because of a car on his left. and he didnt ram him the idiot in the suv slammed on his brakes right in front of him... That truck weighs 40,000 tons and doesnt slow down or stop as fast as a car that weighs 2 tons. Vehicles on the highway dont have to move for traffic entering highway, the vehicles entering have to wait till its clear to enter, thats why its called a merge ramp. If the idiot in the suv wasnt being a nut job there wouldnt have been a wreck.
@1Masterofwar incorrect. first off there were no cars around the trucker it's a 3 lane highway he needs to be in the middle lane unless he is exiting. 2nd. There is also a law stating you must move over if possible to avoid an accident, the trucker was just to stubborn to do so. 3rd the trucker intentionally rammed him. At no time did brake lights come on and he moved to the shoulder of the road to ram the guy. This trucker has been involved in numerous crashes because he is over aggresive
@Kartracer6 I see your point but the cameras dont lie and the trucker changed lanes multiple times to avoid incident yet the driver of the SUV had a severe case of road rage and went out of his way to cause the accident. That is why a court of law convicted him of reckless driving and the truck driver wasnt charged. Those trucks arent built to be swinging back and forth from lane to lane and to do so put more people in danger. Truck driver did the right thing. To bad your to blind to see that.
@1Masterofwar Trucker was charged with Failure to yield to avoid an accident and wreckless driving SUV was charged with Improper lane change and wreckless driving. he only changed lanes twice. Yes the cars actions of blocking was dumb but he just taped the brakes and the trucker just drove to the shoulder and slammed into him. I'd be supporting you if this trucker didn't have multiple incidents with tail gating, road rage, and ramming cars and spinning cars trying to merge. This guy is not safe
@Kartracer6 Ok you cant say that because its not in the video... Nothing is said about that at all so I dont believe you... I know that according to traffic laws the truck driver didnt have to yield to anybody especially entering traffic. The truck driver didnt break the law. You say he is unsafe and according to THIS video I dont see that and we are talking about THIS video not what you know or think you know. We are talking about what happened in THIS video and in THIS video truck guy is right
@1Masterofwar well if you encourage ramming people as doing the right thing then please don't be in the same state as me because we could use less drivers like you on the road. People gotta learn to share the road and not have to one up someone or do something because they think the other driver deserves it. This incident not only created a danger for the 2 dumb asses causing it but it could have killed innocent people who where properly driving down this stretch of interstate.
@Kartracer6 I never said I encouraged ramming or anything like that. If the driver of the SUV had have drove like a good driver and obeyed the law and rules of the road none of it would have happened. But he chose to not to yield right of way, then use his vehicle as a weapon to cause a major traffic accident. The truck driver tried numerous times to avoid the confrontation without putting passing motorists in danger. The SUV driver did everything in his power to cause the accident. watch again.
@1Masterofwar you stating the trucker did everything right is you saying it's ok to ram the car. Both drivers used their vehicles as weapons not just the SUV. Both drivers are at fault for this incident. The trucker was an asshole and didn't move over to let the suv merge (it's called sharing the road) the SUV driver got pissed and cut off the trucker and blocked him twice then went back to his original speed at that point instead of passing safely the trucker goes to the shoulder and rams him
@1Masterofwar Sadly it's very poor you would support these actions by saying the trucker did nothing wrong. Sorry man but him ramming him was probably more dangerous then the SUV just blocking. Which is why both got cited and this trucker needs to lose his license if he can't show the professionalism that is expected from him on the road.
LOL the trucker rams a car intentionally and you expect us to believe no ticket. Give me a break. I believe the SUV got in trouble, but to ram a car intentionally and get away with it with clear cut evidence like this, sorry not buying it. Its too bad, some truckers just need to be taken off the road, and in this case some drivers need to control their anger and not put others at risk with that lane weaving and slowing traffic down in poor weather.
ok for starters the trucker driving is the one making this "reality show" The facts he gives aren't completely correct. If memory serves me right both drivers got tickets for this incident.
The truck driver did nothing wrong. When you merge onto a FWY you do not have the right of way. You either speed up to get ahead or slow down to get behind. Especially with a big rig. They can't just slow down for you on a dime. As was clearly demonstrated when the idiot slammed on his brakes and got hit.
@00Mandingo00 "The truck driver did nothing wrong" did you miss the part where he fails to let the driver merge and where he intentionally rams him. This incident ended with both drivers getting tickets if memory serves me right
@Kartracer6 the truck does not have to let the pick up merge. the responsibility is on the pickup driver to get to highway speed when entering and not just dawdle along and expect everyone to get out of the road when he decides he wants to come in and how the fuck do you stop a load truck as quick as a pickup. a. learn road rules and b. learn simple vehicle operation. and there is no way the truck driver was ticketed for anything on this video.
@baldymp3 First off your incorrect. The trucker was able to move over so had he actually hit this pick up truck he would have been cited for failure to slow down to avoid an accident (actually I believe that's what he got for intentionally rear-ending the pick-up) The Pick up truck was no longer braking when the truck hit him he could have clearly stopped. I know both drivers where cited I just can't remember with what. Both drivers are responsible for the pick up merging. Learn your rules
@Kartracer6 just because he was able to does not mean he has to. neither driver showed manners. and just because the pickup had stopped braking does not mean hes not at fault for getting hit up the ass. he decreased his speed rapidly in front of a vehicle that could not stop in the same distance creating an unavoidable collision. the truck may have been able to change lanes to avoid it but this would also require him to take his eyes off what is happening in front to make sure he had room to.
@baldymp3 "neither driver showed manners" How can you state that then state "The truck driver did nothing wrong". Yes if the trucker can safely move over he must do so. Like I said it's been a while since I last looked up this video but I believe the charges were Trucker-Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, Assult with a deadly weapon, and some random one for illegal equipment or something (which doesn't matter it has nothing to do with this)
@Kartracer6 being courteous and being legal are 2 completely different things. no the truck driver does not have to move, he has to move to avoid an accident but since there was no accident at the merge then there is nothing to fault. and if i was driving this truck and charged with failing to slow i would contest it in court. a truck cannot stop as quick as a car and what the car did was illegal in braking in front of him anyway because as you even state it is reckless driving.
@Kartracer6 it may be different over there but here if a car pulls into a trucks required braking area and is then rear ended then the car is at fault and that is clearly what happened here.
if the police charged him with failure to avoid an accident by not changing lanes that may stick but it would be arguable in court that he didnt want to take his eyes off the pickup driver to check for a clear lane because of his erratic behavior which can be easily seen.
@baldymp3 In america nobody has right of way in a vehical. No law ever deams anyone to have right away. Both drivers provoked this incident and an accident occured. Had both drivers corrected their actions this accident would have never happened. The only good thing about it is the 2 that deserved to be in an accident were the only 2 involved.
@Kartracer6 i think you are wrong there otherwise there are no right of way rules in america. i think you mean nobody has right of way if it will cause an accident. avoiding an accident takes preference over right of way. def right about there only being 2 in the accident being a good thing tho. you are also right about both drivers provoking the situation but i still think the car driver is at fault. where the truck driver was being an ass there was no accident as opposed to the car driver.
@baldymp3 I never said there was no right of way rules I said nobody has right of way in a vehicle. The law simply states who must "yield right of way" the reason it's written this way is because if a vehicle simply had right of way and some one was going thru an intersection he could legally not attempt to stop just to hit the driver...we both know this isn't true. It was the trucks failure to slow down and avoid the truck that got him ticketed.
@baldymp3 I find it really humorous that when the guy making this video showed the "how to merge properly" video the trucker moved over for the car. Makes you wonder if the trucker knew what he had done to the car but didn't want to admit to it.

@EddieErion929 haha alright well if you get all up tight about some one not moving out of the way when mergeing you should probly just ride your bicycle to work.
DieselForDinner 2 weeks ago
The nice thing to do is to allow traffic to merge, not knowingly force them off the road. Of course that doesn't give the moron the right to try and cause an accident. Also you notice for the "proper merge" segment, the driver of the semi actually moves over to allow the vehicle to enter?
MorteWulfe 3 months ago
You mean Just get up to highway speed and merge were there is an opening? Wow, that's a lot easier than riding to the end of the ramp at 60kph and stopping wonder why everyone else on the highway isn't pulling into the passing lane to let me take my time getting on.

1. You are no supposed to block cars from entering the freeway.
2. He didn't merge at full speed, against the law
supramanz 7 months ago
you may think that the trucker should have not been following so close, so he wouldn't rear end him, but the truck appeared to already to be going the minimum speed, so his last option was to lane change to make room, which he did, twice. I hope that driver gets locked away for a very long time.
sneakyabcd 8 months ago
The person driving the SUV didn't put their signal on letting the guy know they're merging on. I wonder if the trucker guy would of continued to have driven the same way down the interstate if there was a signal showing. Anyway the SUV driver is a idiot as the video show's and needs to use their signal, everyone should!!!!! People who don't use their signal rather in a car or on a "motorcycle" deserves not to drive or "ride" in the first place. Take the bus if it's that hard to use a "Signal"!!
JetsetUnited 8 months ago
@JetsetUnited
You nailed it on the head, and the key word here is merge - the on ramp is merging - requiring the person on the onramp to YIELD to the right of way. The Semi is in the right of way, the SUV is merging, which makes the person driving the SUV wrong on all accounts. Many will change lanes to allow the onramp to merge easier, however, they are typically not driving an 18 wheel vehicle.
dfgibas 8 months ago

RJBbass2000 10 months ago
the trucker saw the SUV entering the highway. there were no cars to the left of the trucker's lane so why couldn't he move over?
vsiNgh420 10 months ago
@vsiNgh420 The truck has the right of way....he's already on the freeway. It's the SUV's responsibility to get on the freeway, not the truck's responsibility to change lanes (due to their relative positions).

End of Lesson
drumdude46 1 year ago
Drivers in Seattle are passive aggressive. They will only merge onto roadway doing 35MAX in a 70mph area and don't signal. But in other scenarios like passing, if you are wanting to pass, they suddenly find the gas pedal and try to block you in and will continue to drive even with other lanes to keep you blocked in. They also love to do unnecessary brake check flashing going down a slight downcline but on the uphill climb they will floor it and many times exceed the speed limit to keep ahead.

And as far as legality of the merge; just because the law says that you don't have to get over-the golden rule says stop being a lazy cocksucker. While what he did was ridiculous and only hurt him, the truck driver is a fuckass for riding him until the end of the on ramp.

@Milwaukeejinx98 merging traffic has yo yeild the right of way to traffic already flowing. its called an on ramp for a reason... suv 100% at fault...
RedPete95 1 year ago 14
@RedPete95 Very true, its the same rule for joining any motorway or dual carridgeway here in the UK. Merging traffic has no right of way against traffic already flowing. The traffic coming from the sliproad (on-ramp) has to look for an empty space, they can't just push on. Its always up to the drivers discretion to be curteous in moving over to another lane to let traffic join.
1ns4ne1d10t 1 year ago
@1ns4ne1d10t Huh? The law here in the US isn't like the UK then. Here in the US law requires that if you can get over to avoid an accident you have to get over.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 In our UK highway code it says the driver of the vehicle should move over in the next lane to avoid an accident with a merger and doing this lessens the likihood of road rage but you don't 'Have to get over' by law. A lot of people move over in the UK but its always younger drivers. Old pensioners and lorries will often stay in the lane and not move. Lorries are not a problem, older people are more a problem. They speed up and sometimes deliberately prevent you from joining.
1ns4ne1d10t 1 year ago
@1ns4ne1d10t Ya here in the states the law is written to say that if a vehicle can safely move over they must. Not quite written like that of course but it's the same concept. But it's like you said it's older people with the problems. I think alot of that comes from they think they are the most experienced drivers because of all their years of driving and they have to be stubborn. Kinda like this semi driver.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 English OAP drivers are their own worst enemies. Our OAP's (Especially old men) will deliberately hog a wrong lane, drive slowly on it. Then when you try to overtake them they will suddenly race you in order to stop you from getting past them. Once they have sucessfully defeated you, they will slow down again to keep you behind and 'watch' your every move. If you don't have a fast car in your favour this can be quite problematic. This is why I have a quick car. Lol
1ns4ne1d10t 1 year ago
@1ns4ne1d10t we got a few people here that speed up like that. You know video's like this and stories like yours are just more proof that to many people out there think they are the law. That if they don't like how someone drives they gotta enforce punishment to settle it. Sadly all it does is raises insurance, takes away more resources for EMS and Fire crews and police, it gets people killed, and at no time does it help the situations. People are just dumb out there.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 Thankfully our pensioners are few and far inbetween and you don't see them often which is a godsend. They do worse things then that if you think the ^above^ is bad. Ours run people off the road, especially old males. I have seen them deliberately straddle 2 lanes, cut-up and run overtaking vehicles up the centre verges to stop them from overtaking. Its not uncommon behaviour. They do it to young men in particular.
1ns4ne1d10t 1 year ago
@RedPete95 you realize the accident wasn't from the merge right? The car had already established position on the highway when he got hit. It was a rear-ending. It came from both drivers crazy driving

@RedPete95 merging traffic doesnt have to yield!! do u have your license? not in canada anyways. merging vehicles stoping to yeild on a highway is fuckn retarded. ANY cehicle in canada driving in the right lane merges over to let people on the on ramp in! and people in the fuckn middle lane usually even merge over speed up or get the fuck out the way to let right lane ppl in . this 100% truckers fault. but the suv is a fuckn idiot for doing stupid shit after!
milldabeast519 6 months ago
@milldabeast519
Merging traffic in Canada has to yield to traffic already on the highway. People in the right lane moving over is a courtesy thing, and in some cases is not safe.
Highway Traffic Act:
106(1) A driver of a vehicle about to enter on an intersecting
highway from a highway marked by a "merge" sign need not stop
that vehicle before so entering but shall take all necessary
precautions and merge safely with the traffic on the intersecting
highway.

Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 more like its the exact response you wanted, you prick wind up merchant get a life, you got plenty to say to people on here, you should do us all a favour and jump in your gokart and pedal it under a train

@TheDboy76 I love how little kids like you get so angry over people commenting on COMMENT BOARDS...I mean my god what did you expect to see when you looked at the comment board. LOL It's ok to comment on the video I won't tell if you don't want me to. Seriously though it's people like you that encourage the stuff that happened in this video because you encourage the trucker to ram the car.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
Ray, by making the comment "how to do it (merge) properly" at 3:15 and applying that bit of advice to the scenario at 0:38, you are at fault here as well.
Even though you were legally in the right, you were wrong by failing to avoid the situation when the evidence you provided shows you could have done so relatively easy.
Errors on both sides contributed to this crash.

@123MrBurg Errors might not be the best word. I think I'd perfer Stupidity on both sides contriuted to this crash.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
DFE523 1 year ago
@DFE523 Thank you
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb No thanks needed, but you're welcome! I've been driving for a long time and have seen many things happen/almost happen with bad decisions made by both car drivers and truckers. In this case, by looking at the tape, looks to me the driver of the SUV made many bad decisions causing this accident. The trucker had no where else to go. In my opinion...
DFE523 1 year ago
@DFE52 first off. It doesn't matter what the law is. If you wanna go by what the law is then the trucker was at fault because he rear-ended the car and the rear vehicle is held at fault, people need to learn to share the road and neither of these drivers wanted to. They are both at fault and were ticketed as so and even though the SUV driver had no right to cut him off that was still no right for the trucker to ram him it's really sad that we are more worried about laws than safety
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 "If you wanna go by what the law is then the trucker was at fault because he rear-ended the car and the rear vehicle is held at fault"
I would say, in my opinion, you are about 99% correct in this statement. In that small 1% area, there are those that try to cause an accident, as the driver of the SUV did, by slamming on their brakes obviously trying to cause the driver of the truck to jackknife and/or crash. What other choice do you see the trucker having in his position?
DFE523 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 Oh! Just one more thing... Your statement: "It doesn't matter what the law is." I'd like to see you repete this statement to an officer of the law, if/when you should ever be pulled over, and see what your response is.
DFE523 1 year ago
@DFE523 first off the SUV never "slams on the brakes" He tapes them then lets off and goes to the shoulder of the road. The trucker has 2 lanes available to him yet he chooses to move to the shoulder and ram the SUV. This isn't the first time he's done this either. Oh and yes that will work saying it to an officer. Here in Chicago I asked an officer if he would stop cars on the interstate because they do 80 in a 55. He said no because it's safer to let them blend in then one guy doing such
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 Again, in my opinion, it looks to me SUV hits the brakes pretty hard, but DOES NOT go to shoulder till AFTER the hit. Also, instead of speeding up after the brake, continues to slow down. Looks to me SUV lost a bit of control in it's 'hard' brake and and went to the right of the lane, but was in the lane. -- Perhaps you should stay in Chicago if you can get away with such things. The laws do count in other states, cops are happy to hand out speeding tickets.
DFE523 1 year ago
@DFE523 a lower rate of speed then the rest is more dangerous. He instead goes after the slower traveling cars or the cars rapidly weaving lanes because it's a danger. The point is to keep safe not be within every context of the law. Oh and there is a law stating the trucker has to make any reasonable attempt to avoid an accident. Him blocking the SUV driver when he has 2 available lanes to move to is considered him at fault also, had they crashed there. But he also rammed the car at the end
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 "Him blocking the SUV driver when he has 2 available lanes to move to is considered him at fault also, had they crashed there."
Where does the trucker 'block' the SUV? Honestly, looks to me the trucker was minding his own business, doing his job, the SUV should have either sped up to get in front of truck or slowed down and got behind. The truck had the speed, the SUV did not. It is my understanding it is not mandatory for ANYONE to HAVE to move to other lane.
DFE523 1 year ago
@DFE523 trucker blocks SUV at 0:31 LOL give me a break the trucker had all the room in the world and the SUV had very little space left, notice in his video how he was showing how to merge he moves over for the guy. And the SUV was far to the shoulder long before the impact. why is it the trucker goes left then back right again? Oh it's because he wants to do again what he's done before. Ram someone. Like I said safety is the issue here. Sadly your going by what the law is and not whats safe
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@DFE523 it's fine you feel that way. Not safe but your entitled to your opinion. Sadly though it's opinions like yours that causes these crashes. I've seen people who had someone pull out in front of them and since they felt the other person was wrong they just drive right into the person instead of slow down to avoid it. It's these actions such as yours and this truckers and SUV's that makes the problems we have. Learn to drive defensively not aggressively.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 Look...I've had times where I've misjudged an enterance and just ran up the the breakdown lane, then get over behind the truck, everyone makes mistakes. But I didn't rage and try to wreck the truck for my own error. I've seen where I'm not going to make it and waved the trucker on to let him know I see him and he has the right of way, and in merging, cars/trucks already on highway have the right of way. I see you waffle between what laws 'should' be observed and those you can
DFE523 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 'ignore' or bend to benefit your side of the discussion. Everyone should try to be law abiding, is it always possible, no, it isn't. So, I'm done with this, you see it your way, I see it mine. Seems to me, if he were to try to swerve out of the way of a hit, truck could have gone out of control at that speed and closeness, hit SUV anyway, wrecked, endangering many more lives. I'm done! God Bless.
DFE523 1 year ago
@DFE523 Oh yes, and after he goes out of control from a simple turn of the wheel a terrorist could be hiding in his trailer and blow up his truck causing the road to collapse and kill millions of people. Sorry but the opinion is this which is safer driving at the SUV or away from the SUV. Sadest part is all this could have been avoided if the Trucker had simply let him merge onto the highway and not started crap to begin all this. But that's what's wrong with people.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 I LOVE how you contradict and lie to yourself over and over in attempt to sway the discussion in your favor but get proven wrong time and time again. Heck DFE523 has more brains than you and I and finished this discussion with those two comments of his. I will follow this lead and move on from this very pointless discussion with you.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb I have yet to contradict or lie to myself. Sadly if more people went thru the classes I've been through and actually learned how to drive there would be less of this. But sadly they allow just about anybody who can sign their name to have a license so we have drivers like this on the road. And people like you supporting their dangerous actions.

Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 OK OK your stupidity has brought me back and I can not resist. You talk about seeing this from a neutral stand point, but you are still pointing the finger at the trucker, because of a past history. the truckers past history does not matter. No one does really know who this trucker is unless they do the research. I have seen these machines flip and cause more wrecks because a car in front suddenly slowed down on the highway. CON-

@Kartracer6 My college education tells me to feel pity for you. If you want to talk about anything else about this video or something other than this video you know how to contact me.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb You may have a "college education" but you obviously can't apply it yet. Like I said both sides are at fault so I'm not exactly sure where your not understanding that by accusing me of just blaming the trucker. Oh and yes history is a factor. I mean if the guy is in 6 or 7 rear endings in which the other driver wasn't braking and you find he is doing the same in this one you become suspicious. The court of law will take his history into consideration.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 History is important but not everyone is even to going to bother looking it up. Everyone only sees this vid. Also you do realize you also used the education ploy and I said the same thing to you as you did in your last comment. I find this very amusing. Not against you or me, but at our comments.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb Even without history it's still obvious both drivers are at fault. Why are you so quick to defend this trucker for causing a road rage incident? I guess what gets me is why people like you feel it's ok for the trucker to retaliate because the SUV driver is driving not to your liking. To me we need to learn to share the road but to some people like you think we need to just crash people because you don't like the way they are driving. Great justification you got going there
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 After I made that first comment, I found the police report(when I find the site again I'll send you a link) and made the choice to remove the comment but then you made a list to me about what the truck which did not happen and stated that I had no education because you didnt like my comment or my comment didnt agree with you. So I decided to correct you. Is that enough justification for you. Also I ownly said the truck needs more road to stop than a car does.

If you want to continue this I'm more than willing to help you understand you misjudgement
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb so what are you? an uneducated trucker? are you claiming this to be true? if not then your not uneducated but yes you encouraging the truckers actions does want me off the road. I could be the most open and accepting person in the world to others opinions and I'm not going to support ramming someone because your mad at them and the fact you do just amazes me. I mean seriously you expect me to agree with you that the trucker was justified in his actions here? just not smart.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 Have you even bother to read my comments completely? Have I made you that UPSET? As I have stated in my past comments I DONT support the trucker, I dont care who he is nor his past history. I CORRECTED you about your uneducated comment. I only CORRECTED you on the list you made to me which still does not hold up. All I have done is CORRECT you and you took it as if I was supporting the trucker. My past comment only stated that it takes room for 80 ton truck to stop.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 You need to calm down. Again I dont support the trucker I only corrected you on your list anyone who sees our comment will see that, I'm sorry you dont see it that way.
Question: Why should I be MAD at all? I have not tried to make you justifie the trucker you are taking this way too far. Here is a message I got from someone who says that the message was sent to you also, quote from the message-"leave him alone he leaves you alone, take as you like this swings both ways." CON
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb who's upset? If anything it's you getting upset and yelling about how you thought I called you uneducated. Seriously what does stopping have to do with this video? First off as far as I've been taught with out a overweight permit the legal weight is 40 tons not 80 you kinda doubled that. Even at that full weight it takes the trucker 40% more space to stop if the vehicle slammed on the brakes. So the fact he is coasting makes the braking irrelevant. Other then that your comment
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@banjocaleb went from defending your argument into something completely incoherent and contradicting.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
Everyone one who thinks that the truck driver intentionally rammed the SUV has never driven anything that size or close to it. When I say that I mean a car bigger than a SUV. Semi Truck BRAKING on a highway very quickly is not a good thing, In the movies when you see the semi brake and the trailer moves side to side it and flip really does happen in REAL LIFE. All the SEMI's driver could do was hold the road as he was braking to prevent loss of control and hope the suv would move in time.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb you know...that excuse gets old "you don't realize how hard it is to stop these." Yes i do. I've investigated enough of these crashes and been educated enough to know what I'm seeing here. A few things remain a problem. A.) When the SUV is struck it is on the shoulder of the road meaning the trucker veered over to hit him, B.) 3 lanes of interstate were availble and the trucker choose to drive on the shoulder. C.) the SUV is merely coasting at highway speed he is not braking. CONT
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@banjocaleb D.) At no point do you see the truckers brake lights illuminate until after impact of the Vehicle. Also some side notes. This isn't the first time by any means this trucker has been involved in an accident where he has rear-ended a car. He has numerous counts of aggressive driving and tail gating. Even one account of another trucker having a road rage confrontation with him. The driver by all means could have avoided this incident yet he chose to ram the car
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 For someone who has so called EDUCATION, watch the video and tell me where the truck veers to hit him all I see the truck veering not much but away from the SUV also heres a hint: semi trucks are tad bit wider than any car on the road. Another thing in the video when the SUV hits the brakes causing the SUV to reduce speed (psst the SUV brake lights did light up) how can you tell if the truck also hits its brakes from the video shown here.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb Ok the fact the SUV is 45 to 50 percent on the shoulder of the road and the truck is moving right tells me he aimed. It's obvious because at first he's heading left then for some reason feels he needs to turn right so he hits him. Also the SUV was off the brakes long before the crash happened oh just looking at the video you can see the truckers brake lights when it shows his rear cam. I neither know or am the SUV driver. Think about it why would I blame the SUV driver if I was
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 if you drive you would know hopefully that when you take you foot off the gas pedal you will slow down. And in the video where does the truck veer right, are you very confused about it because in the video the only time he goes right is when hes trying to avoid the SUV. The Truck lights do come on its hard to tell due the video quailty but they do.
Then if you werent the driver/friend, then why defend the SUV like you have before I even made my first comment.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb him. Both drivers where just as guilty for this crash and both drivers cased this incident. It just comes from seeing it enough and working with investigating accidents and realizing how things work. This semi driver has a history of these actions they aren't accidents they are stupidity. I blame both these idiots and feel both should lose their licenses and be taken off the road. But for the truck driver it's his job to drive and should be more professional in what he's doing.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 To help you understand why I think you are the driver/friend of the SUV, because I know you are wondering. I went back and looked at your comments oh to do that you click the next button at the bottom of the comments just saying. banjocaleb 1 year ago
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 Again I have to correct you this is getting pretty funny. In one of your last comments you said the SUV was not completely on the shoulder and as for the truck veering right if it did its most likely when it makes contact with the SUV cause and effect. To Top it off the truck could not move over due to a car in the lane next to him as shown around 2:30. BUT you are right I dont know everything about the guy, in this case it does not matter what hes done in the past. CON

Find it funny he could get over when he
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@banjocaleb wanted to pass the SUV but as soon as he wanted to block it or ram it he conveniently can't find space to get over. It's as simple as this. Both drivers caused this incident and both drivers got ticketed for this incident and both drivers are at fault. I suggest you not be any where near where I drive because people like you are the reason we have so many idiotic preventable accidents these days because instead of sharing the road you wanna condone these actions by the trucker
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 Like you have been doing. I'm sorry that you cant agree with the evidence in the video but make a video response to this video telling everyone about the truck driver. I know what the semi can and cant do. You want to know use the education you wasted your money on and research what they can and cant do. if you cant handle the truth dont bother getting on the road, you'll make safer for everyone on the road.
Have a nice day
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb You know comments such as "bother getting on the road, you'll make safer for everyone on the road" don't hold much credibility coming from a guy who is encouraging a trucker to ram an SUV because he doesn't like the way the SUV driver is driving. I can see the video, actually it's been the main source of my argument. Honestly I should say perhaps it's you who is related or knows the trucker since you are defending his erratic driving. Sorry man but both drivers are at fault.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 Its funny your main source has been making you look like an idiot during the past couple of days. If you dont like the trucker then say it. I have given you the idea of making a video about the driver and putting it on this page as a video response and you wont take it. But to make you feel better I'll leave this page to you to waste you time making calms that wont hold up because the proof is the video. Now excuse me I have a life beyond making comments on a single page-CON
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb why should I make my own link retard. Seriously the proof is in the video. Let me guess your another uneducated trucker who just sides with all truckers in each wreck. It would explain why unlike me who looks at it from a neutral view you would sit here and accuse the SUV of everything and call out the trucker for being innocent. Sorry man your wrong and it's simple as that the trucker rammed this car I mean seriously. The car is on the shoulder and not braking and the truck has
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 2 lanes avalible to him. Heres what happened. The trucker stubbornly blocked the SUV driver from merging even though he had 2 avalible lanes to get into. The SUV driver got upset and the idiot decides he's going to speed up and cut off the Trucker. This gets the trucker upset because the SUV just got him back for his incident so the trucker tries to pass the SUV 2-3 times but gets blocked (god only knows what the trucker would have done to the SUV if he got next to him) the suv
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 then proceed to gradually slow down as he got to the shoulder of the road. The most logical reason behind this action is he wanted the trucker to pull over and they would have a verbal confrontation on the side of the highway. What the trucker should have done was changed lanes and just passed him and pulled off at the next exit stopped at a public location and called the police...instead he decided to go to the shoulder of the road and ram the SUV because he felt that was the
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 right thing to do. Then people like you get on here and praise the trucker for these actions. Sadly both drivers had a part in this accident happening and even though the 2 luckly only got themselves involved and not some one else it still has a price to pay on insurance costs, legal work, and time the officer has to take that could be used for better more effective tasks. I have no intent to make a video about this if it bugs you so much then you make a video defending yourself
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 biggest point here is I see what there is to see. I find that 2 other groups are mainly on here. Those that only drive small cars and SUV's that all side for the Car driver because he got cut off but fail to notice where he cuts off the trucker and blocks him. Then there are those that drive trucks for a living that side for the truck because the car cut him off and blocked him but fail to see the trucker kept the SUV from merging and then rammed the SUV at the end. I'm neutral.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 I dont drive semi trucks, but I know what they cant do like moving out of the way and stopping on a dime. There are some people who cant accept the truth, I am sorry that you are one of them who happen to waste their money on education you got from a crap college. Why should I defend myself for CORRECTING you when the video and everyone else who watches this clip says the same. Are you also stating that every person who happens to disagree with you is uneducated?
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 If you do think that are you a liberal if so your comments would help me understand.
To point out one more thing if you check uploader comments you will find how justice worked out for the trucker.
But you really want to know I mainly drive a 2000 Nissan Xterra(2nd car) and before that a 1994 Mazda 626(1st car). I drive maybe one or two days out of the year (for training) a vehicle close to the size of the semi but bigger than a dump truck. Cant remember what its called sorry.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb Honestly I get mixed opinions. A lot of those siding for the truck are truckers a lot siding for the car aren't truckers. Yes he can't stop on a dime and yes he isn't as flexible but honestly just letting the SUV merge isn't that hard to do...it would have prevented all of this. Also I know how justice worked out they both got ticketed. How about instead of checking what the trucker in this video says (Who has a history of this and would lie because he thinks he's doing the right
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@banjocaleb thing) or you can go find public records. But hey with all your comments of how it can't stop on a dime and isn't flexable leave 2 things unanswered. 1) why did he veer to the shoulder to hit the SUV and 2) why did he find it quite easy to pass when he wanted around him but when he could of moved twice he found it difficult.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 One he never did veer to hit the SUV but to avoid but couldnt because a car in the way of the trailer which can be seen. Three he did try to avoid him by trying to go around him but the SUV followed.
One thing we may never know however thanks to this clip is the fact was he trying to move a head of the vehicle to his left in order to or not.
The respones video I propose to you was not meant to defend yourself but to inform people of the trucker like I said in my past comments.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 I really dont know what he said about this, I'm going what the clip shows. I do however find it funny that this clip has proven you wrong countless times and that was without the public records(which I have gone through myself after making that first comment and reading one of your comments to another post about the trucker was about to remove it.) What I do hope in the future you wont use the "I've got educated and you dont" n get proven wrong time and time again.
banjocaleb 1 year ago
@banjocaleb the video has yet to prove me wrong. First off at no point was a car blocking him from getting over. I realize you only see what you want. There are glares from the head lights but you will notice they are very far back because of how long it takes that vehicle to get to the trucker. Once again I state you need to stay off the roads because of people like you encouraging these actions you merely are one more reason so many crashes happen.

Both of them are maniac's that only thought about themselves and not the other innocent lives around them. The perfect result of this would have been both of them losing their driving privlages
Kartracer6 1 year ago
First driver of the SUV didnt yield right of way when coming on to highway... Entering vehicle ALWAYS has to yield right of way to vehicles already on highway... Driver of SUV is 100% in the wrong, and truck driver handled it properly by attempting to avoid the situation...
1Masterofwar 1 year ago
@1Masterofwar yes Ramming a car and blocking it from mergine was so the proper way to handle this situation. Sorry but if he would have handled the situation properly there would have been no wreck here.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 The truck couldnt move over because of a car on his left. and he didnt ram him the idiot in the suv slammed on his brakes right in front of him... That truck weighs 40,000 tons and doesnt slow down or stop as fast as a car that weighs 2 tons. Vehicles on the highway dont have to move for traffic entering highway, the vehicles entering have to wait till its clear to enter, thats why its called a merge ramp. If the idiot in the suv wasnt being a nut job there wouldnt have been a wreck.
1Masterofwar 1 year ago
@1Masterofwar incorrect. first off there were no cars around the trucker it's a 3 lane highway he needs to be in the middle lane unless he is exiting. 2nd. There is also a law stating you must move over if possible to avoid an accident, the trucker was just to stubborn to do so. 3rd the trucker intentionally rammed him. At no time did brake lights come on and he moved to the shoulder of the road to ram the guy. This trucker has been involved in numerous crashes because he is over aggresive
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@1Masterofwar i by no means condone the SUV's actions after the fact but the trucker is just as guilty at this crash.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 I see your point but the cameras dont lie and the trucker changed lanes multiple times to avoid incident yet the driver of the SUV had a severe case of road rage and went out of his way to cause the accident. That is why a court of law convicted him of reckless driving and the truck driver wasnt charged. Those trucks arent built to be swinging back and forth from lane to lane and to do so put more people in danger. Truck driver did the right thing. To bad your to blind to see that.
1Masterofwar 1 year ago
@1Masterofwar Trucker was charged with Failure to yield to avoid an accident and wreckless driving SUV was charged with Improper lane change and wreckless driving. he only changed lanes twice. Yes the cars actions of blocking was dumb but he just taped the brakes and the trucker just drove to the shoulder and slammed into him. I'd be supporting you if this trucker didn't have multiple incidents with tail gating, road rage, and ramming cars and spinning cars trying to merge. This guy is not safe
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 Ok you cant say that because its not in the video... Nothing is said about that at all so I dont believe you... I know that according to traffic laws the truck driver didnt have to yield to anybody especially entering traffic. The truck driver didnt break the law. You say he is unsafe and according to THIS video I dont see that and we are talking about THIS video not what you know or think you know. We are talking about what happened in THIS video and in THIS video truck guy is right
1Masterofwar 1 year ago
@1Masterofwar well if you encourage ramming people as doing the right thing then please don't be in the same state as me because we could use less drivers like you on the road. People gotta learn to share the road and not have to one up someone or do something because they think the other driver deserves it. This incident not only created a danger for the 2 dumb asses causing it but it could have killed innocent people who where properly driving down this stretch of interstate.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 I never said I encouraged ramming or anything like that. If the driver of the SUV had have drove like a good driver and obeyed the law and rules of the road none of it would have happened. But he chose to not to yield right of way, then use his vehicle as a weapon to cause a major traffic accident. The truck driver tried numerous times to avoid the confrontation without putting passing motorists in danger. The SUV driver did everything in his power to cause the accident. watch again.
1Masterofwar 1 year ago
@1Masterofwar you stating the trucker did everything right is you saying it's ok to ram the car. Both drivers used their vehicles as weapons not just the SUV. Both drivers are at fault for this incident. The trucker was an asshole and didn't move over to let the suv merge (it's called sharing the road) the SUV driver got pissed and cut off the trucker and blocked him twice then went back to his original speed at that point instead of passing safely the trucker goes to the shoulder and rams him
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@1Masterofwar Sadly it's very poor you would support these actions by saying the trucker did nothing wrong. Sorry man but him ramming him was probably more dangerous then the SUV just blocking. Which is why both got cited and this trucker needs to lose his license if he can't show the professionalism that is expected from him on the road.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
Never got a ticket, never had to show up in court, mever got sued . Was no xident, was a criminal act by the suv driver. That's it.
raymagrant 1 year ago
@raymagrant So are the video's on your website of you driving to?? if so you need to find a new career.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@raymagrant
Kartkid024 1 year ago
ok for starters the trucker driving is the one making this "reality show" The facts he gives aren't completely correct. If memory serves me right both drivers got tickets for this incident.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
The truck driver did nothing wrong. When you merge onto a FWY you do not have the right of way. You either speed up to get ahead or slow down to get behind. Especially with a big rig. They can't just slow down for you on a dime. As was clearly demonstrated when the idiot slammed on his brakes and got hit.
00Mandingo00 1 year ago
@00Mandingo00 "The truck driver did nothing wrong" did you miss the part where he fails to let the driver merge and where he intentionally rams him. This incident ended with both drivers getting tickets if memory serves me right
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 the truck does not have to let the pick up merge. the responsibility is on the pickup driver to get to highway speed when entering and not just dawdle along and expect everyone to get out of the road when he decides he wants to come in and how the fuck do you stop a load truck as quick as a pickup. a. learn road rules and b. learn simple vehicle operation. and there is no way the truck driver was ticketed for anything on this video.
baldymp3 1 year ago
@baldymp3 First off your incorrect. The trucker was able to move over so had he actually hit this pick up truck he would have been cited for failure to slow down to avoid an accident (actually I believe that's what he got for intentionally rear-ending the pick-up) The Pick up truck was no longer braking when the truck hit him he could have clearly stopped. I know both drivers where cited I just can't remember with what. Both drivers are responsible for the pick up merging. Learn your rules
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 just because he was able to does not mean he has to. neither driver showed manners. and just because the pickup had stopped braking does not mean hes not at fault for getting hit up the ass. he decreased his speed rapidly in front of a vehicle that could not stop in the same distance creating an unavoidable collision. the truck may have been able to change lanes to avoid it but this would also require him to take his eyes off what is happening in front to make sure he had room to.
baldymp3 1 year ago
@baldymp3 "neither driver showed manners" How can you state that then state "The truck driver did nothing wrong". Yes if the trucker can safely move over he must do so. Like I said it's been a while since I last looked up this video but I believe the charges were Trucker-Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, Assult with a deadly weapon, and some random one for illegal equipment or something (which doesn't matter it has nothing to do with this)
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 being courteous and being legal are 2 completely different things. no the truck driver does not have to move, he has to move to avoid an accident but since there was no accident at the merge then there is nothing to fault. and if i was driving this truck and charged with failing to slow i would contest it in court. a truck cannot stop as quick as a car and what the car did was illegal in braking in front of him anyway because as you even state it is reckless driving.
baldymp3 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 it may be different over there but here if a car pulls into a trucks required braking area and is then rear ended then the car is at fault and that is clearly what happened here.
if the police charged him with failure to avoid an accident by not changing lanes that may stick but it would be arguable in court that he didnt want to take his eyes off the pickup driver to check for a clear lane because of his erratic behavior which can be easily seen.
baldymp3 1 year ago
@baldymp3 In america nobody has right of way in a vehical. No law ever deams anyone to have right away. Both drivers provoked this incident and an accident occured. Had both drivers corrected their actions this accident would have never happened. The only good thing about it is the 2 that deserved to be in an accident were the only 2 involved.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 i think you are wrong there otherwise there are no right of way rules in america. i think you mean nobody has right of way if it will cause an accident. avoiding an accident takes preference over right of way. def right about there only being 2 in the accident being a good thing tho. you are also right about both drivers provoking the situation but i still think the car driver is at fault. where the truck driver was being an ass there was no accident as opposed to the car driver.
baldymp3 1 year ago
@baldymp3 I never said there was no right of way rules I said nobody has right of way in a vehicle. The law simply states who must "yield right of way" the reason it's written this way is because if a vehicle simply had right of way and some one was going thru an intersection he could legally not attempt to stop just to hit the driver...we both know this isn't true. It was the trucks failure to slow down and avoid the truck that got him ticketed.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@baldymp3 I find it really humorous that when the guy making this video showed the "how to merge properly" video the trucker moved over for the car. Makes you wonder if the trucker knew what he had done to the car but didn't want to admit to it.
