the narrator, towards the end of the video says our galaxy contains ''OVER 100 MILLION STARS!'', when in fact, the milky way galaxy contains, most likely 100-200 BILLION stars... some would argue that because we can not see much of our galaxy due to interstellar dust it is possible that upto 400 BILLION may reside in the milky way... this would be an alarming number, and highly unlikely but not impossible, 150-200 billion sars would be the best estimate.
i think he was asking us to think of a hypothetical galaxy that has the same characteristics as the milky way but only with 100 million stars, so that the ratio of '1 supernova to every 100 million stars per century' could be used
@johnnyb749atgmailcom Wich is why it bugs the shit out of me that close minded Christians say were the ONLY life in the entire universe, even though there are billions upon billions of suns (some with planets orbiting) in space, then multiply that by the number of galaxies... its just not possible that we are the only life.
Twinkle twinkle, little star....so thats what you fu**ing are!! Thank you so much! Science revision is officially OVER :D
