  • i just cried. :(

  • I lost my Rotti 3 days ago I have so few pics Thanks for sharing yours Bo was an abused rescue dog that turned into a handsome 160lb gentle giant I never thought I could cry this much over an animal but then I never lost a rottweiler before Thanks again

  • i got a rott from an animal shelter and i got so attached to him. he was the sweetest thing ever. but then he bit my neighbor. we had to take him back:( every time i went into the backyard and saw his toys i would cry........ but Chad and all other rotts will live on in out hearts forever!

  • Very touching description. :(

  • 2:14 is cute. I just lost my lab of 13 years, too. It was the saddest day of my life. It's going to be fine, don't worry. : )

  • Your story is very sad but similiar to my dog Darcy who was put to sleep in February from Cancer. He was also a rescue dog and neglected from love. When he left and I packed up all his stuff, I had a full box of toys everywhere in the house. The sadness never disappears - i am 34 year old man and cry everytime when I think about my mate. May the hearfelt loss of all rottie owners unite us all.

  • I'm sorry for your loss. :(((

  • I am crying as I watch this video.. I lost 2 dogs and a cat to a huge house fire in Nov.. God bless your boy Chad and I'm so sorry for your loss..

  • i am so sorry. :(

i have a rotweiler as well

  • wow looks like he was a really nice guy .. yes i cried too .... sad loss there... very hard but memories are forever !

  • i am so sorry i have tears in my eyes ;( this makes me hug my puppy rottie RIP chad

  • Give that puppy an extra hug from me! Rotties are especially cute puppies. Chad was a dog in a million, I hope your pup turns out to have his gentle nature.

  • I m sorry for your loss, once in your life ,forever in your heart.............RIP Chad

  • He'll always be with me, thankyou for your kind words.

  • What a stunning boy. He will always be with you. CHAD is smiling in almost all of the photos. So happy! and you gave him a great home. What a doll. Excellent tribute! We lost our girl at 9 yrs old to bone cancer. I will send you our tribute to Roxy.

  • Chad never stopped smiling. He was perhaps the most laid back dog I have even met and nothing seemed to ever phase him. I originally got him as a two year old rescue dog who could barely sit to command. Training a two year old rottie from scratch is no easy task! I'm just happy I was able to give him such a wonderful life he might not have otherwise had.

  • I totally understand My dog was ran over by a car in 2007. I cried for an hour and i was not to happy but I understand. I made a tribute vid for him and me today. I know the bond never goes away and It never will even if they have passed

  • Yeah, even now over two years on I still miss him like crazy. I have another rottie now who's personality is completely different (He's seriously a clown who thinks he's also a lap dog) but still has that lovely gentle temperament that was so prevalent in Chad. While Chad would lie next to me in bed, Steve decides he has to lie on top of me! XD

  • My dog was like that kinda my dog was really hyper and happy and loving like ur dog! i wish u best of luck!

  • Really an touching and unfortunate account, my condolances for the loss of your handsome companion

  • I am so sorry.

  • so sorry 4 your loss.

  • :( think im goona cry

  • omg bless you

    r.i.p chad your missed

your up there with my tyson

    i miss you tyson

loved allways and allways in our hearts x

  • Thank you for your kind words. When you love a pet or a person that much I don't think it's possible to ever truly get over their passing

  • omg im usually quite a hardnosed person but i watched this, read ur info and i was heart broken so god knows how u felt!!,what have u done to me lol

  • Chad loved meeting people, he was perhaps the friendliest rottweiler I have ever seen. It's lovely to see even in death he still touches peoples hearts. Thankyou so much for your kind words. Even now, 18 months later and with another rottweiler (whom I still occasionally call "Chad" when i'm not concentrating) it still hurts. The worst part was not being able to say farewell to him... He's still with me now, I'm certain of it.
