I've followed your videos for years. But this one got me, I was in tears my dad had a stroke about 5 years ago and still hasn't recovered to the best of his abbility, I will donate when my EMA comes through, I am also running a stafford half Marathon on the 26th of March to raise money for the stroke association xxxx
@outcastjack What I gather normally happens and what I believe was the case with my dad is that often someone will have one stroke, which they might seem to recover from, but then at some point from anything like a few hours after to weeks after, they'll might have a second, fatal stroke. So these strokes don't necessarily happen on an isolated basis and the statistic, I believe, is for each individual stroke. Unsure though and I appreciate that it sounds a bit weird.
@missxrojas wow thanks for replying, (don't really know what to say) there is really know point in saying this to you (potentially the most awesome/intelligent vlogger ever), but DFTBA :)
Seriously, the six people who disliked this video are douchebags. These people have life-threatning conditions while trollers like them spend there life disliking and commenting just badly. God save the ill.
my dad had a stroke this year and is now paralyzed. he can't walk, eat, or even go to the bathroom to himself. this video breaks my heart because i know how awful they are.
I'm so sorry about your dad. My grandmother had a stroke when I was a kid, she spent the last 10 years of her life deaf and in a wheelchair. My grandfather had to care for her full time and became depressed over the strain and tragedy of it all. Thank you so much for making this beautiful video, it's a cause that really needs more attention.
Rosianna, you are amazing. I've been watching your videos for like four years now, and I sort of feel as though I've grown up with you. I felt your pain when you told us that your father had passed away; one of my friends had an epileptic fit and died just a couple weeks after him. Watching the way you've handle this has helped me a lot, so thank you for remembering to be awesome everyday. Stay strong <3
also I babysit at a family where the grandfather had a stroke too, he's in a wheelchair and can't talk for himself, but he has a device to talk for him, the best thing out of this is that his grandchildren have the opportunity to get to know him
my dad had a stroke too. He didn't die, but he's paralyzed on his left side and has left the hospital maybe ten times in two years- three of which to switch to a different hospital. I didn't even know this charity existed, because I'm in the US, but since watching your video have since donated to both branches. Thanks for this.
It's great that your raising awareness for this, although very sad circumstances, about 2 years ago just before christmas my friends mother died from a stroke, and it's been heartbreaking seeing how badly this has affected him, and how it's made him so much more depressed than he was...
such an amazing person, you not only deserve to smash this target you also deserve the subscribers and fan base to be able to make a difference yourself :)

Thank you for opening my eyes to this organization. :)
My Grandmother had multiple strokes and eventually passed away from complications. It's not something you hear about very often, and if you do, it's really only within the elderly population. I hope you reach your goal!
this was so touching!!!!! all the best to you and your family this christmas. Wow i love P4A i feel like i can not only show support for charities around the world but also the people who make the videos. Bravo!
Rosianna, your video was close to home for me as I had a stroke aged 27 and was left with the long-term effects to deal with on top of the significant ph

I don't mean to offend the sentiment, however the the 1/3 statistics indicate that you cannot die if you last more than 10 days is this intended?
