  • Finally got enough money to be able to donate, make that 101 :)

  • I've followed your videos for years. But this one got me, I was in tears my dad had a stroke about 5 years ago and still hasn't recovered to the best of his abbility, I will donate when my EMA comes through, I am also running a stafford half Marathon on the 26th of March to raise money for the stroke association xxxx

  • Beautiful xx

  • I may have commented already but you're an awesome person.

  • I don't mean to offend the sentiment, however the the 1/3 statistics indicate that you cannot die if you last more than 10 days is this intended?

  • @outcastjack What I gather normally happens and what I believe was the case with my dad is that often someone will have one stroke, which they might seem to recover from, but then at some point from anything like a few hours after to weeks after, they'll might have a second, fatal stroke. So these strokes don't necessarily happen on an isolated basis and the statistic, I believe, is for each individual stroke. Unsure though and I appreciate that it sounds a bit weird.

  • @missxrojas wow thanks for replying, (don't really know what to say) there is really know point in saying this to you (potentially the most awesome/intelligent vlogger ever), but DFTBA :)

  • This video is making me cry. Rosianna, stay strong. Your family and yourself are so brave and inspiring.

  • I will donate as soon as funds are available to me. dftba :)

  • Great vid... Although I'll admit I clicked on it because on the p4a website it showed up as The Stroke Ass...

  • Seriously, the six people who disliked this video are douchebags. These people have life-threatning conditions while trollers like them spend there life disliking and commenting just badly. God save the ill.

  • my dad had a stroke this year and is now paralyzed. he can't walk, eat, or even go to the bathroom to himself. this video breaks my heart because i know how awful they are.

  • I'm so sorry about your dad. My grandmother had a stroke when I was a kid, she spent the last 10 years of her life deaf and in a wheelchair. My grandfather had to care for her full time and became depressed over the strain and tragedy of it all. Thank you so much for making this beautiful video, it's a cause that really needs more attention.

  • Rosianna, you are amazing. I've been watching your videos for like four years now, and I sort of feel as though I've grown up with you. I felt your pain when you told us that your father had passed away; one of my friends had an epileptic fit and died just a couple weeks after him. Watching the way you've handle this has helped me a lot, so thank you for remembering to be awesome everyday. Stay strong <3

  • my dad had a stroke too. He didn't die, but he's paralyzed on his left side and has left the hospital maybe ten times in two years- three of which to switch to a different hospital. I didn't even know this charity existed, because I'm in the US, but since watching your video have since donated to both branches. Thanks for this.

  • Fantastic cause, beautiful video.

    dftba

  • Wonderful cause and wonderful video.

  • I didn't even know this charity existed... When I was 16, about 18 months ago, my dad had a minor stroke. He recovered after a few weeks, and was put in speech therapy, but he still has a lot of trouble articulating his words, and it is sometimes almost impossible to understand him. I have gotten used to the new way he speaks, but I can tell when I bring a friend over, they have to struggle to comprehend. I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for opening my eyes to this organization. :)

  • Fantastic cause, Rosi. I hope my contribution helps someone someday.

  • DFTBA!

  • I donated a fiver, wonderful cause, and one that's close to my heart too :)

  • I'm so sorry for what you've had to go through, Rosianna. DFTBA, sweetheart.

  • My Grandmother had multiple strokes and eventually passed away from complications. It's not something you hear about very often, and if you do, it's really only within the elderly population. I hope you reach your goal!

  • Donated. DFBTA Rosianna!

  • this was incredibly moving.
