Anyone see HBO's Faceoff with Floyd, Ortiz and Kellerman? Floyd told Ortiz 2 things, he said "It's different on this level", and "If you make any mistakes, you have to pay." Ortiz damn near made a Mike Tyson ear biting mistake with a leaping head butt and a left hand. (Ortiz's best 2 blows of the fight) Ortiz had lost focus at that point. @spyph So I guess after the referee broke them apart., Floyd Mayweather should have asked him if it is ok to continue and I see you did not say anything about the headbutt, but that is ok. The fight is over and it is what it is. He lost and Floyd won. Floyd was breaking him down regardless but it ended and others that do not like him will have to wait for another contender to try to defeat him. Ortiz got caught looking at the wrong guy. You do not have to protect yourself from the ref.

The fix was in on this fight, the head butt was the setup for the knockout that Ortiz new was coming. Oritz was just willing to take a couple clean shots in order to to take his dive. Ref was not even watching the action at the time of knockout. In any other fight...when its time to re-engage...the Ref is watching the fighters, and not focused on others outside the ring. Fix and sad.
