  • Folk dancing: partners actually look at each other and interact with other dances on the dance floor. Lends itself to coy flirting and courtship. Ties often to specific regions, countries, towns and cities.

    Modern dancing in clubs: dancers can look at anything they want, some acting in blatantly sexual ways, with no thought of other dancers, personal integrity, community, grace or beauty.
