Yeah, of all the ones he fought, Ichigo probably had the most respect for Grimmjow, and also a little for Ulquiorra and Gin at the end.

*spoiler alert* aizen didnt die, ichigo lost his powers and aizen regenerated.....again but then urahara came and aizen found out that urahara put some hidden kido when they fought earlier, and later on you see aizen in front of central 46 as they give him 18.800 years in prison

Read the manga grimmjow does not show up after they beat aisen he is sentence 20,000 years locked away because aisen is immortal and then they take ichigos power away and so end bleach

It also plays when Captain Amagai commits sucide. Although I don't like fillers (unless hollow Itchigo pops up) I lvoed that battle so much because of music. On a side note Grimjows theme is called pantehr king, well worth listening to.

i dont really know, ichigo does indeed not kill him and at that point hes incapacitated, but then noitra comes in and gives him a clean blow. since then neither manga or anime has mentioned him and all the flasbacks from his past felt like a way to put him in the spotlight one last time before he dissapears from bleach
