that show was probably the best i've ever seen. easily the most bad-ass stage though. i walked into commonwealth and saw it and lit up to celebrate its awesomeness
Saw them 4 hours ago in Atlanta, Georgia ( us )!!! It was fantastic, incredible performers for a reunion tour it was the best i've ever seen ( L at motely crue reunion )
I have heard so many terrible things about The Police reunion tour, but this sounds so good I am wondering just where all these negative reviews are coming from?
Saw them live a couple of weeks ago in Montreal! It was great! If you like the police do a myspace band search for Mcpherson - he's heavily influenced by them. Rock on
The Police were always ahead of the curve. They're good enough to reinterpret their own music and make it work. These guys aren't head-banging hacks. They are legitimate musicians that happen to play rock music.
when they play live, why cant they just play the damn song? every song live is always been like a lounge / scat version of their tracks. they never were much cop live frankly.
because they play alot of their songs exactly like the album. thats fine for every breath you take and dont stand so close to me, but this song NEEDS to be jammed out.
I saw them in Oakland last night. I'd been waiting over two decades for this experience since I wasn't allowed to go to concerts as a teenager. FINALLY!!! It was a great show. They were so full of energy--especially Stewart. What a fantastic drummer. I loved the big grin he had on his face almost the entire show. They were all great.
Michael, thanks for the nice comments :) I was so happy to be there too... i never saw the police in their heyday because i wasn't born yet, but they've been my fav band for years now.
Cheers, the Police last played Edm in '83 -- I was a grade 9 kid in Calgary and a huge fan of the band, bought Synchronicity on album & tape (no CD's back then)! I sooo much wanted to be there as a kid -- so this concert was definitely the ONE for me 24 years later!!! Thanks again for posting, walkingonthemoon, your video is a great reminder, keep 'em coming!
No worries about the shaking, thanks so much for sharing! What a wonderful concert, we were thrilled to be there to take it all in. The band seemed to be having a great time also. It was a once in a lifetime thing for those of us fortunate to be there and enjoy the Police live, one I shall treasure always!!!
Merci the police!!!!Le meilleur groupe de tous les temps.

I went to show in Oakland CA,
Every thing was right on the money, most live
shows suck. I can't believe how great these
guys still are.
