Well...I know the difference between the written languages of 3 most popular Asian Languages because I study Korean (I live in Korea) and Japanese (tried studying for 6 years = fail). So from a glance I can distinguish the 3. and recognize other east/southest asian languages

Japanese-- Kanji similar to traditional chinese, look out for katakana and hiragana

Korean -- like like chinese, but have those rounded stuff (I'm not that good haha)

Chinese-- 2 types, Simplified and Traditional. I study simplified, so there is a difference between the two.

Other languages are more distinct, while some others are from exposure in my country. So yeah, my Japanese = fail too hahaha...
