Schilling is a hypocrite. He becomes a born again Christian and decides to judge everyone else. This P.O.S. had nothing to say when his 2004 crew was linked to HGH.
Wrong, his first full year was at the age of 25 where he went from 75 to 227 innings thrown with 10 CG though he wasn't a full time starter. He went from no starts in two years to 26(10 complete games)and 42 games altogether. That's why he had arm trouble down the line. He also was a drunk hot head until age 25, but after 92 and 93 throwing 227, 235 innings with 17 CGs, he had 3 injury ruined years. It happens when a coach doesn't let a pitcher adapt into a work horse.
Also after those seasons he he threw 522 innings in two years leading the league in games started both times, complete games once, k's twice and a 3.14 ERA. He went 9-10, 17-11, 15-14(15 CGs)which is horrible cause he should have won at least 15 and 20+ games in the latter two seasons. Unlike Clemens, he broke down from 38 to 40, but struck out 300 plus 3 times and 293 while Clemens never k'd 300. He also wasn't a roid rage guy who threw at peoples' heads.
The most guys he pegged in a season was 6 when he threw 269 innings. Clemens doubled that more than once. Schilling was far more clutch who had learned to not walk people. Roids don't do that for you. The Astros hated Clemens(he was like Bonds, McGwire, etc...) Even Pettitte disliked him. Schilling was 11-2, 2.23 ERA, a .968 WHIP and 4.80 K/BB. Clemens was 12-8 with a pedestrian 3.85 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and obvious roid rage.
Schilling is blunt, honest, and in most cases correct when he talks about baseball. he is disliked by many because of his lack of political correctness, he rubs people the wrong way and makes them uncomfortable. I often find his point of views refreshing. if youre going to hate on Schilling, attack what he's saying; don't argue like a 12 year old and call him names beecause chances are you're on the wrong side of the argument.
So you won't even take into account that Schilling was almost universally hated by everyone in Major League Baseball his entire career? I'm not saying he's never right about things, but by all acounts he's a pretty unpleasant person to be around, and is considered a far worse attention whore than A-Rod by players.
I'm not a huge Curt Schilling fan either, but he' expresses what I feel as well, and it is basically the hell with them, they dug their own grave. As far as Devour's comment back 4 months ago, Schilling has not eased up he still stands his ground, and feels that the players that used should pay for it, regardless of the player, they shouldn't get in the hall of fame. I feel none of their stats should be observed at all, this will teach any player not to use performance enhancing drugs.
Schilling tells it like it is. If you can't handle that then just keep on listening to the same old crap from all the players who are media class robots.
Nonsense. I hate the players who give robotic answers. But almost everyone who's been around Schilling hates him, and it's a well-known fact that he's an attention whore. Plus he campaigned for George W. Bush. That alone should ban him from ever opening his mouth again.
love how back when it was other players Curt was in the front of the line to string these guys up and say they should never get hall of fame consideration and all-star consideration, yet now that it was one of his teammates he has eased up significantly. Try staying consistent and not flip-flopping, there, Curt.

Take a look at Curt's numbers. He would pitch well for a few years and then pitched like crap. Typical signs of a steriods user.

Was it ever clearly stated before all the hype that steroids were illegal to use?
What if I was a player who drank 20 Red Bulls before a game? Would I be called a cheater?

Who cares; Steriod are illegal in this country anyway; doesn't that mean anything?

Plus, he contradicts himself. He talks about how every team had roided players. Seems even to me. Go away.

What a tool. He was just smart/lucky enough to get out of baseball before he got busted for roids.
I want them on roids. They're entertainers. I want the best players and roids make the better. Don't think that the game is pure anymore anyway.
