Mediocre because you're up Sasha's backside a bit much? No fanbase is a bit presumptuous. Of course the fanbase has faded since they're no longer active, and there you go assuming again as to the reason for their inaction. Which 33 people? Don't bother responding because I grow tired of responding to idyllic fools, Sasha worship is so 90's.
@jayhovajigga You are trying to write off all their work (including several singles and a host of remixes) with a single opinionated comment. Nope, doesn't pass the smell test.
@vinnie97 Actually, I'm not writing it off... I listened to all The Light's productions (w/o Sasha's help) and if you ask me, they are all mediocre at best. As opposed to 95% of Sasha's productions which are CLASSICS. Sasha = Still an active DJ/Prod.The Light = dead since 2003, and there's a reason... NO FAN BASE (besides you). By the way, you tried to write off 33 people with your opinionated comment, does that pass "the smell test?" If so, it sure smells like bullshit on your end.
This is one of the best posts on youtube of by far the best Belfast rendition. Thanks. Seen Orbital in 99 in Ibiza. They changed how I listen to electronic music forever. They ARE the best electronic group ever..
It doesn't really matter who the producer is what they usually make. This is a breakbeat. If u don't know what a breakbeat is, don't bother trial to label genres on music. Just listen and learn.
Anyways to the 2:00 part and on, Superb, Highly tranceish, Only thing is sash is on it.... so I am not exactly sure what the genere is considered. Just from the top of my head i would say progressive tech trance? anyone else have anything more concrete? Dont wanna hear any dumbasses spouting off from their inferior knowledge only given to them by tiesto and stuff ya get it?
on of the best peices of electronic music on earth!! Just pure Nirvanna!!!! Even better than the original i must say! Sasha u are one heck of a talented fellow!! Same goes to orbital! this is wat kums out when two amazing talents and pioneers do their work!
Picked up this 12" today - so ridiculously good! I love all of Sasha Vs. The Light remixes - Gus Gus's Purple remix is also amazing and so is his Banco de Gaia remix
Kikinlarge thank you for posting this. One of the greatest remixes of Belfast. One of Sasha's(& The Light) greatest remixes ever. This track is not just electronic music(progressive breakbeat) but an emitional piece of music. I cant begin to tell you how many times I've played this in club and people stoped dancing just to tell me what in the hell was that I just played bc it's so moving. It's tracks like this that solidify my respect ,passion, & the primary reason I spin progressive music.
people need to realise clubbing is about listening to awesome pieces of music and dancing to it rather than listening to music that goes BOOM BOOM BOOM and not a lot else.

this is second best to the original , like most originals ... they cant be beaten
its an unwritten rule , - originals are best ok - ...
but only just , maybe by a tenth of a second
blower220 2 months ago in playlist thumbs in space 2 pink turds, orbital BELFAST SATAN etc
PS. They exploded onto the scene with "Pan Fried." If that's mediocre for a debut release, I'm Josef Stalin.

All you Sasha knob-slobbers, don't forget to give half credit to THE LIGHT.
vinnie97 4 months ago
@vinnie97 well if you look at all the tracks THE LIGHT has done besides his works with Sasha, you will understand why Sasha gets all the credit
