If the late Roy Budd had been American he'd be a household name, but like Matt Monroe he's almost unknown outside of his own country - in Roy's case not even there. Sadly missed.

I was addicted to this ablum as a kid. It was, I think, produced by Tony Hatch. Just seeing the cover instanlty raised goose pimples with me. I was fortunate enough to see him perform live twice in the late 70s. Just seen the picture of the label and I was right about TH. Also on there Bossa Nova USA - superb!
