@farlinj Pumps were bad in this machine. It also had some electronic issues. Somewhere I have a great video of towing it around the jobsite with a D6 after it died.
@BNSF6757 Cat all around, although when I did forestry I ran JD (stick on right hand boom on left) Cat (stick on left hand boom on right) and log loader (stick on right hand but you pulled in to go out, boom on left and you swung with your feet). On some days I ran all three in a shift! If I just got on and concentrated on what I wanted to DO was no problem but second you THOUGHT about the controls it was over.
@PaTrIcKat1995 I'm not so sure it's the video as much as the fact that we (Burnout and myself) are openly non-union. While it's a right to join one apparently its not a right to decide not to.
@vantagetes Go for your guys!!! Unions are royally fucking up the auto business in the U.S. Its fucking ridiculous some trailers trash high school drop out dick head can make more than some people with a 4 year college degree for standing around pushing a button all day so a machine can stamp out a piece of steel....insane. Then the union fools complain when there job is "hard" or "demeaning"...
@rollinlowford You do not need to be in the 955 to be a skilled trade. If you would like to have the union/non union discussion do it over private message with us.
@25mfd My company is paid by how much dirt we move. As an operator should I get a higher wage if I can move 300 loads in 7 hours than the guy who gets 240 in the same time but has worked here for 15 years? If I show up and just put the minimum amount of effort in should I be paid more or less than someone who gives 110% every day? If I'm someone who just doesn't really get how to run a machine should I be paid the same or less than everyone else? If you want more just send me a message.
How do pumps on these machines go bad? Lack of maintenance? Or is it just from constant use?

@vantagetes This is a bit sluggish due to bad pumps? Seems a little slow pulling through the ground? Or maybe its just the bucket?

@vantagetes What are the negatives in your opinion to being a union member.
Union membership is such a hot button issue.
What do you think you would lose by being a union shop???
What would you keep and/or gain by not being a union member???
