You probably shit your pants when the Lions drafted him. I remember you hating on the Lions and Stafford, and now Best is there with them. Love it. Can't wait to see him help them keep getting better.
We're glad to have him in the D. Haven't had a hard runner like him since Billy Sims back in the 80's. Check out Billy Sims against the Houston Oilers vid...see the resemblance?
fuck tht anyone would have been seriously hurt from tht hit, he's a playmaker thts the risk u take with a playmaker. he'll be drafted by either detroit, or san diego in the first round. he's a beast
well thats what i thought cuz they have a playmaker in sproles but jahvid will be way too good to pass up when they have to pick. and Mathews is projected to go in the second round
Your point being? Im aware of how our J is pronounced as H in the spanish language. Thanks for the unneccessary spanish tutorial tho. I was merely pointing out the fact that its funny that he ASSUMES his name is pronounced that way. Much like people who assume a guy named Josh is really Joshua or ...no the birth cirtificate says Josh. Ppl ust make things complicated for no reason..not sure why
Not exactly, with all do respect to you, I am an athlete myself and I am on my way to professional coaching.
It's true speed coaches do improve 40 yd speed, but that is because they are improving the athlete's technique running in a straight line, not as important in the football field. After years of training, physically athletes peak, but with better technique, they do improve their speed.
Let me ask you this, how come 100m runners not improve at all after they peak?
Seems like you're questioning him, not the scouts.
By the way, you can't just improve the speed in matter of months when you're already peaked. He has natural speed and he won't improve much, if at all. He'll run in the 4.28 range, which is incredibly fast. By far the fastest of the draft this year.
He'll be picked up in mid first round by a team who wants to establish a running tandem. He won't be a full time back
lmfao HAVID BEST

Go Lions... Splitting time with Kevin Smith, the lions will finally have a running game. Much improved offense and defense will only help him out.
