  • As opposed to the idea that the architect was just lying about destruction of the matrix

I think architect meant that if the matrix isnt reloaded at this point the virus smith would destroy the matrix which it did in the 3rd movie (everyone plugged into the matrix died after being copied into a smith)

  • Reading those Mandarin subs so fast must by a nightmare

  • What inception tried to be...

  • Ben...Bernanke?

  • @JagjeetMann indeed !

  • Reading comments made by anyone that consist of "blah, blah, blah" or "words, words, words" is like watching a toddler attempt to learn calculus.

I wouldn't say that 'The Matrix' trilogy is based on religion, nor anti-religion for that matter. What makes it so great is that it's applicable to humanity as a whole, because regardless of your belief system, everything the Architect mentions here plays off human nature.

  • Hell, the movies cover everything from love to control to causality to choice -- and all of these tie in to how we think and what seperates us from every other species on this planet. Some people choose to think about this scientifically, while others do so spiritually, but the underlying point of the speech (and the trilogy as a whole) remains the same no matter who's listening.

If you simply can't understand what he's saying, then that's another issue altogether. Bummer.

  • Seen this movie so many times and anyone claiming it is clever script writing is an idiot. This whole scene is an over acted load of toilet. I would not mind if it had reason but it is just so unimportant and pointless to even the movie. If this whole scene was deleted it could have been replaced with a rat climbing some rope for 2mins. Would have made the same impact on this film.

    ZERO

  • Stop saying sir, you fucking morons

  • What the fuck did rfavro say? Why the fuck doesn't youtube put the post the top comment was replying to at the top of the page too?!

  • for frack sake where is my dictionary??!!!!!

  • studying a book called The Words You Should Know for the sat, which consists of 1200 words, finally paid off. I understood everything he said in this ostentatious spiel.

  • this isn t from matrix

  • @buddhafollower Actually, it is. A very important moment if as well, it's the first time that we hear about other "chosen ones".

  • Is that dr. breen?

  • I hate when stupid religous assfaces flood with idiot comments - and by religious I mean Christians...

  • Anyone who thinks The Matrix is pro-religion better take another, objective, look. The filmmakers biblical references are far from kind to the source. Neo never once tells anyone else what they should believe or do, much less that he'll kill them otherwise. When he finds the architect/intelligent designer, he's just a tool who wants to enslave humanity for his own benefit. Most people do not even trust in Neo. It's all about choice and reason. The bible is all about my way or the hellway.

  • I think that the matrix has to do more with society rather than any type of religion!!!!! Religion even gives us choices. You have to think the bigg picture. Think about who are the ones that dont want you to have choices. We already do have choices, think about the people that are always tryng to control things. Those are the true villans. Even God doesnt control us he can tell us not to do it. It up to you if you want to do it. Even then he understands and gives us a second shot.

  • @frank198210 you are too naive if you think religion gives us choices. Fortunately religion are nothing but lies, you can choose, however, to believe those lies or not. That's the true choice we have.

  • I don't know what to think vis à vis this, ergo I'm stupid, I think... :-)

  • haha holy shit this is terrible

  • If you want to write a great story write one based upon a Bible story. The Matrix story is the Biblical story of Genesis repeated mutiple times(the repeated destruction of Zion is the great flood repeated multiple times) :

    Architect = God

    Oracle = Satan

    Neo = Adam

    Eve = Trinty

Mr Smith = angels (angels are lower than humans which explains Smith's jealousy)

Systemic anomaly = sin (aka choice, 2:28)

    The Matrix = Eden

The Real World = Zion (outside of Eden )

  • @BooBoo0818 why is the oracle the satan? the father is morpheus, but not in a christian, omnipotent sense

  • Comment removed

  • @kautilya21 One can interpret the story based upon several of the Biblical stories. Yes, one can look at Morpheus as the father and Neo as Jesus. As for the Oracle she seems to be an instigator. Satan is said to be the great instigator. This is just my quick interpretation. You may have an entirely different view. It's all debatable. To me it's easier to interpret the story Biblically (along with Greek mythology) than via computer jargon (causality, constructs, programs, plugged in, etc).

  • Yawn, this sequel doesn't inspire alot, let's just consider the Matrix the Matrix and the Matrix Reloaded to be some other movie made to cash in on the Matrix's success. The Matrix 3 was just the Matrix Reloaded: part 2.

  • The one thing that the architect does not understand is love. This is why he did not expect Neo to walk out the door to the left. The choice was supposed to be obvious, save all of humanity. The oracle knew this would be the architect's blind-spot and used it to trick everyone into ending the war. Touché Oracle.

  • Omg, i could listen to the architects voice for hours

  • Reading comments made by Christians trying to understand the Matrix without any understanding of Neoplatonism, Esotericism, Hinduism, Buddhism or Gnosticism. Is like watching old people with dementia trying to fuck.

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld Lets all just beat up the Christians then, because it's not like we didn't criticize them for doing the same.

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld Reading comments by wikipedia-philosophers who arrogantly assume that just because a person is religious that it precludes their knowing anything about opposing philosophies, therefore rendering them incapable of understanding said philosophies is like listening to a blind man deny that a sighted person can read braille.

  • @KdogPrime I assumed no such thing, I read the majority of the comments left by my Cave dwelling christian co-commenters. I have read the Bible among many other books Such as the Upanishads, the Tipitaka and the Nag Hammadi Library to name but a few. And fyi Wikipedia is a fine source of information also. Now why don't you go back to favoriting video game uploads and corporate advertizements. Leave the trolling to those who can do it far better then you.

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld The Matrix is a movie, not a belief system. It's underlying philosophies are flawed, and don't require a genius intellect to understand. Nor does a person need a degree in philosophy to understand base human nature, which is the fundemental core of all the philosophies you mentioned. You claim to have read the Bible, but you clearly didn't understand it. Now why don't you go crawl back into your bottle and leave your philosophizing to your bar buddies?

  • Comment removed

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld You completely failed to see my bar insult as an obvious dig at your Irish heritage. And you can't justify a clearly insulting remark by claiming it to be a reference to the work of someone else. Just like any pseudo-intellectual, you surround yourself with the trappings of knowledge and fancy references to disguise that you are, in fact, just a jerk. I know your type. You'll run because you're afraid of an actual challenger to your ideas. Or you'll reply and lose.

  • Comment removed

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld Bigotry would imply that I cared whether or not my insult would hurt your feelings. I just wanted to see if you were really smart enough to see it for what it was and cared enough to reply, even when you said you wouldn't. And don't pretend that you thought anything of me at all. This is the internet, hello? Nobody gives a shit about your shit, just like no one gives a shit about mine. You won't have to worry about me for much longer, as Youtube will likely cut us off soon.

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld how about we just agree that the Matrix was a good movie that approached many forms of philosophy (stop me if I'm wrong) using a (puts on sunglasses)...

    ...computer-generated allegorical comparison?

  • @Momentum139 True Dat.

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld I prefer it this way: Just like Narnia, I was entirely unaware of any pseudo-pagan or atheist concepts or allegorical whatevers in any of these films when I was young. And that's just the way I like it. I like to see the Matrix as it's own story, and not try to attach existentialism any further beyond it than the line that draws the fictional universe from our own. I've never read any comment here (except maybe yours) that implied any form of Christianity vs The Matrix debate.

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld and when I run out of verbal platforms to make my reasoning sound correct to an invisible person, I simply use this quote to justify any argument for or against the Matrix:

"The temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself."

    It's like a get-out-of-jail-free card.

    (Sorry for hijacking your debate)

  • @Momentum139 I was leaving anyway. But I both see and agree with your point.

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld Bla bla bla>

it id just vulgar version of Goedel's theorem.

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld god i actually had someone try to use the matrix as a way of explaining christianity =/ i was so sad and im only 19 poor woman was over 40

  • @spidermonkeys22 Your compassion tells me you don't need to have Christianity explained to you.

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld that comment made my fucking day !! thank you !!

  • KFC, seriously? You're all noobs for not recognizing Vint Cerf.

  • He came for some KFC

  • put the lines "irevicably here...." and " the problem is choice." and you get = ME.

like the cover of MAD magazine the ARCHITNEOEC

  • blah blah blah THE MATRIX..... blah blah blah, ergo, blah blah blah. Simply put, blah blah ZION, blah blah THE ONE.

  • Sounds like free will

  • MATRIX version 6.0

  • what the fuck is he saying? XD

  • @leonellus he is saying that there is a cycle, that Zion has been destroyed multiple times and that the purpose of the one is to chose who will repopulate Zion

  • \m/

  • Words words words words words words words. Words words words, words words words words.

  • What da hell you talkin bout son???

  • why?

  • which has led you concurrently here. :p

  • I wish I could talk like that in my day to day life. The eloquent wording and flawless structure captivate me in their own way, it is a shame I could not emulate it! The words I need to express my daily conversations "Archy-style" never come to mind and I'm reduced to a crude vocabulary, fumbling through a million neuron connections which opt to pay greater attention to base inanities!

I like to think of the Architect as a God of logic compared to the Biblical God, a much more emotional God.

  • @Standuble you can do it just read more increase your vocabulary and then work on delivery

  • @baudbwoy You are right, I grant gratitude to you instead of an irrelevant reply. I shall become the quintessential linguist, so the most pertinent term would supersede the menial and banal.

  • lol i knew dat kfc guy wasn't only butchering chickens!

  • The Architect looks like a combination of Colonel Sanders and Dr. Gero.

  • @MarcoZravens11 Wow. I see that now. That one got past me. I watched this trilogy many times. It gets clearer and clearer. Thanks! That also explains the betrayal in part 1.

  • @hustlingwithme The oracle is also governed by a higher power.

  • There is no real death. Neo could choose the door that leads to the fall of Zion but it would only start over again. Zion is also a matrix. Remember Neo is there for the 7th time.Once you exist you exist.

  • George Carlin was a cooler architect.

  • if in the movie says its the sixth version ergo this is the seventh version we live in because neo isnt here

  • @sander217 Very correct. I think people miss that one a lot.

  • Respond to this video... It is a great line. It also shows that the "architect" has never had a need for or understand hope. He even scoffs at Neo as he says it.

  • "Hope. It is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of your greatest strength, and your greatest weakness."

GAVE ME CHILLS!! omg such a good line.

  • i think i got it

  • I never understood this part! can anyone explain it in a simple way :P

  • @Faysalaaa In a nutshell, love's a bitch.

  • @Faysalaaa if you go to IMDB you would find an FAQ that explains this better than anyone here ever could :)

  • @Faysalaaa The "Architect" is frustrated because he cant figure out the"flaw" in the system. To me this is a dead give away that he is not God. He has the power to reboot the system without anyone in the matrix knowing. He also use the term "we". He (the architect) knows choice is a problem but doesn't understand why because he doesn't understand the human experience. Just my theory! : )

  • @yourgoodcry Thank you :)

  • @Faysalaaa You are welcome. I love this movie and i understand that this movie is more then the ground breaking special FX that's presented on the surface. The story is Alice in wonderland, Wizard of Oz all in one. Its mind boggling and will really make you think. Thinking is Fun!

  • @yourgoodcry Yes I know I remember watching it when I was younger and I and everyone loved it because of the special FX but I watched it on TV last mounth and I was wow its like another movie :P lol then I watched 2 and 3 :) one of my favorites movies but im arabic so I did not understand part 3 of the movie its really comlicated for me.

  • @Faysalaaa There is so much to this story that you have to watch it multiple times and i view it as one story in three parts. The picture is much clearer. The story is really never ending. You should also check out the animatrix. Its 9 shorts that are unbelievably good. I'm also happy to say you are my 1st Arabic friend and i would love to know more about the culture. I listen to Arabic music and I think its great.

  • @yourgoodcry

good stuff. We're told that angels marvel at us and don't quite understand our existence and why we're placed so high in God's sight. Angels have abilities to interact between realms and change lives/the world, but don't have complete understanding of the "why's". Your comment made me think of this.

  • @alexchavez777 Very true. When i learned this i was mortified. I felt like we as human are here for the entertainment of God and angels. It's more then that i think. Just as angels have abilities we don't, I think we have something they find desirable. It is important to be grateful and count your blessings no matter what realm you are in. I add this in my prayers and that i remain in Gods light no matter what life or realm i may enter.

  • I would've thought the architect upgraded to LCD televisions by now.

  • Easily understandable these days now im a bit older.

  • Keep pressing 6 for BULLSHIT.

  • Cool story, bro.

  • motherfucker

  • TB

  • @KaasSchaver and jesse

  • @KaasSchaver

    The fuck is TB?

  • i think most of what he says is kinda understandable....especially for a math or an engineering major......i didnt understand this when i was young but now...a lot of mathematician (especially engineers) make a lot of assumptions and simplification in mathematical equations to make them easier to solve.....he is just like a math professor

  • Look up the mtv parody of the matrix. will ferrel does a stunning impersonation of the architect. ERGO, IT'S AWESOME!

  • Keanu Reeves is a crap actor.

  • The Architect: "Hello Neo"

Neo: "Aw fuck, its the walking thesaurus"

  • The matrix is to a webpage as the architect is to PHP

  • I'm gonna smath the fucking wall!

  • ty the subtitles really helped

  • big words make my brain go boom boom

  • Without trying to sound pompous or anything... I first saw this scene as a high-schooler and had not a clue what really had transpired... After graduating college this whole scene was just natural and fluent to me. It's not saying, "college makes you smart" it simply is saying, "just pay attention and research".

  • @MidnightSundowns He uses old Latin words and proper English, it's hardly rocket science...and has nothing to do with college. It's just something people aren't used to hearing anymore.

  • @rdpeach Yes, that's why in my original comment I stated, --- "It's not saying, "college makes you smart" it simply is saying, "just pay attention and research".

  • @rdpeach yeah, sadly. :(

  • @rdpeach

nothing to do with college? why condescend? Plenty of people go to college and are exposed over multiple years to much more proper English and Latin words (through research) than they have otherwise experienced.

  • @alexchavez777 There is no condescending tone there what so ever. Only fact. The OP even agreed with me. Please don't read into things and then reply.

  • I don´t understand what he mean....

  • @talikalu

zion is a control structure to save the matrix from individuals that wont fit into the matrix.

thats like our right to form groups and demonstrate - jep. that shit wont change anything but gives the government the tools to control those who wont fit in the governmental definition of society.

  • Where can I buy that chair???

  • "there are levels of survival we are prepared to accept." (always)

  • I want KFC.

  • 7:03, he lol'd

  • Ergo.

  • @gartland1989 vis-a-vis

  • she is going to leave and there is nothing you can do to stop it

  • WHAT???

  • I wish he went through the other door. I want to see the source lol.

  • This is how I want to meet God when I die

  • One choice was based on Fear. The other choice was based on love. Love wins yaeah. :D

  • So Colonel Sanders created the Matrix .

  • @rfavro That's the reason why there was so many blacks in the trilogy.

  • @VirDiligo racist

  • @WeRtheDance Captain Obvious.

  • @VirDiligo This has to be one of the most racist and ignorant comments ever.

  • @bwebmasta1 Go to suck a horse's dick, your pathetic fag.

  • @VirDiligo The only fag I see is you, and racist at that. Bringing up sucking a horses dick? Your level of thought is quite telling.

  • @bwebmasta1 Haha, an effeminate political correctivist calling other people "fags". Is this Opposite Day?

Oh, why so shocked about the horse's dick thing? I thought the majority of you hippies had a very indiscriminate sexual life.

  • @VirDiligo Oh trying to appear intelligent now? Sir, I am not a hippie actually quite conservative and not a racist as you are. You started the name calling, and sexual references to horse dicks, obviously you must love them. Good day, end of the conversation.

  • @bwebmasta1 A conservative who gets offended by racial discrimination, how comical. You're either a nigger (in this case I do not blame you for trying to defended your filthy race) or a liberal white who thinks he's a conservative. In this case you have all my pity.

When you finish sucking that horse's dick, stick it in your butt.

  • @VirDiligo Again, showing how ignorant and stereotypical you really are. What is your fascination with horses dicks? I don't need your pity, you expose yourself as being a very pathetic person with little logic.

As I said, good day. This conversation is over.

  • @bwebmasta1 Poor bastard, what's "logic" for you? To avoid express your negative opinion about other races so you don't hurt their feelings? Do you hippies call sentimentalism "logic"? I think you're smoking too much pot, negro.

  • @VirDiligo wow slow down there you little shit, coming out with things like filthy race can get you in a hole bunch of shit. don't worry i am under no impression that i am anything other than a left winged liberal.

  • @floghit Cool story, fag.

  • @VirDiligo shit that was brilliant, you showed a blatant disregard for my comment then followed it up by calling me a ciggarette, and you expect people to take your incesant ramblings seriously?

  • @floghit Another cool story, fag.

  • @VirDiligo what is it with you and fags?

  • @floghit Nothing. Only an airheaded monkey like you would come to the conclusion that calling you a "fag" implies a relation between me and them. Was that the best comeback you could think of?

  • @VirDiligo ok if your going to try and take the high road i'll rephrase the question. why is it that youve decided to call me and that other guy a fag on more than one occassion?

  • @floghit Political correctivists like you and the other guy/cunt are mostly sentimental effeminate people and declared hippies. Criticizing my discriminatory comment because it "hurts black people's feelings" isn't a very masculine attitude, don't you agree? By that I can easily assume you're a homosexual (openly or not), so I used the pejorative term you mentioned to express the deep scorn I feel for you. Is that hard to understand it?

  • @VirDiligo nope i'd say thats pretty clear, however i would not say that im politically correct, there's a difference between that and feeling an empathy for other humans. i should also point out that i am far from effeminate and by no meens a homosexual in anyway. and its far to easy to say that it only hurts the feelings of black people, but i doubt you regularily get the shit kicked out of you for no reason other than the colour of your skin. can you really tell me thats fair and just

  • @floghit What a pathetic loser. If it wasn't for the male name in your channel I could swear you're a woman, judging by the amount of sentimental bullshit in your comments. After reading everything I wrote so far do you really think I give a crap about negroes' feelings or think it's "unfair" to offend them? Not everyone is an emotive leftist as you, pussy.

Oh, it's comical how you tried to deny you're a homo and right after wrote the same sentimental crap. Now I totally believe you're straight

  • @VirDiligo see what youve done there is made a decision of who i am based on the context of our conversation. you think an effeminate man would do boxing in his spare time?, i actualy find camp men irritating as fuck, which i know realise makes my arguements against your racism completly void. still, its ridiculous how quickly you jump to conclusions, i decided to dismiss the fact that your a racist old redneck alcoholic based on lack of evidence, i would like the same courtacy.

  • @floghit (cont) By the way, that comment you wrote about the "camp" men would be prohibited in that utopic world. Isn't great to live in a real world where you have the freedom to write anything you want, even though some random crying babies will show up to say you shouldn't?

p.s. Don't blame me for jumping to conclusions, blame yourself. If you don't want people putting your masculinity in doubt the last thing you should do is to act like one of those crying babies.

  • @VirDiligo thats why i said my arguement is void and actualy hypocritical. however i know what is anoying about camp men, because they try to be effeminate and end up more feminine than most woman. but what do you dislike about black people?

  • @floghit (cont) because some leftist politicians pity you and want to treat your people as equals, even though they know you're not. I could suggest you to go back to your own continent but I know it's useless, since you're probably too accustomed to the comforts the White civilization created and you wouldn't just give it up. So just keep in mind that you have absolutely no authority to tell a White person how he/she should treat your people, since you live in their lands by charity.

  • @floghit (cont) impossible for it to go back to the way it was. However that doesn't mean I'll accept it and stop expressing my contrary opinion. Did I answer your question?

p.s. You didn't make clear if you're White or black. If you're White you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to defend other races and not your own. If you're black, you should have in mind that, as I wrote before, you live in a civilization/society built by and for White people and you only live in it...

  • @VirDiligo im white, but i don't see why i should be ashamed for defending a race. i would defend my own if a black man was mouthing of about white people in the exact same way.

  • @floghit (cont) they're creating a marginal society inside ours and negatively influencing our youngsters, etc, etc. And all that is being encouraged by leftist politicians who let their sentimentalism subvert their reason.

So yes, you have plenty of reasons to be ashamed of yourself for defending them.

  • @VirDiligo aye its not like we kind of stepped in a few hundred years ago and took them out of their culture and ruined theirs or anything... As far as i can tell the majority of people out there who don't have any form of a job arent looking for anything that requires any form of work, theirs plenty of jobs, its not like wants a black person shags a lass she's off limits, i can still sleep with her. i don't really like the culture britian was made up of, it was too pretentious.

  • @floghit (cont) created to match their own libertine world views.

In fact, i don't think you have an world view whatsoever. I think the only parameter you have is that utopic fairy-tail land you have inside your head and seek to implement it in the real world.

"I personaly think the society I live in is pretentious, so I want it to change to match my personal and individual ideas".

  • @VirDiligo hahaha seriously anarchy? again your trying to hard to figure out the type of person i am, im not as left wing as you think, i think its more that your incredibly over the top right. And i disgust you? i don't know if youve noticed but "my" type of people are the futre, people like you with the belief that black people are somehow just immoral are fast dying out. as for black people not moving back to africa? of course not, but i'd rather live under obama than bush any day.

  • @floghit (cont) rightist/conservative makes them dumb and retrograde. Judging by that assumption you made about your kind of people "being the future", that brainwashing was very effective in you.

  • @floghit (cont) Your last statement just remembered me how much I disgust your kind of people. You have no respect for the work of your ancestors and dare to call the civilization they created "pretentious" even if you enjoy all the comforts it gives you. You were born in a fully consolidated society and ungratefully seek to twist it in order to serve your own leftist ideologies. You seem not to realize you're acting like an anarchist-wannabe teenager, trying to change the world their fathers

  • @VirDiligo oh and i "dare" to call it pretencious? your entire fucking point to start with was that of free speech despite hurting the feelings of some people so you can take that right back. And i work pretty fucking hard for all my "comforts" as aposed to the pricks on benefits (to which i am aposed.) heres something that may suprise you, i actualy voted conservative this past election and im pretty fucking happy with what camerons achieved so far. stop making assumptions...

  • @floghit (cont) since I'm an atheist, which is considered a leftist issue by the Right. See how you're also making assumptions? But I don't blame you, since we're only communicating through text and I'm able to understand that assumptions are inevitable.

Finally, I agree with you that people who think like me are rare these days, but not because they're wrong. It's because people are being brainwashed to think that being leftists/liberals makes them smart and progressist while being...

  • @VirDiligo i defend them because i don't see them as a race doing any harm, and you appear to me using the minority of them to attack the majority. ive faced prejudice like that before and i didnt like it. and i don't like seeing others go through it either. theres nothing wrong with having empathy. im an atheist too, as you probably guessed, so we at least have that in common. i also agree that your veiw isnt exactly wrong, bits of it are fine, i just feel mine are better. im fine with that.

  • @VirDiligo our once great britian can never be great again as long as technology keeps advancing as it does. besides, im from the north east, i dont see it in the same eyes as you do, perhaps the situation is worse down south or wherever you live. again i should point out that i am not so liberal. my social ideologies are rleft wing, my economical are right.

  • @floghit It's comical to see you defending negroes so committedly. Seriously, what do they have that makes you want to support them so badly? I wonder if you think they have something to offer to your society.

It's also comic that you presumptuously implied that people like you "are the future" right after writing that the society you live in is pretentious. Better watch your glass house.

Also, I'm not fully rightist as you implied (not that there's anything wrong with being that)...

  • @floghit Yeah, we totally ruined their "culture" by taking them from a filthy, miserable continent and bringing them to the comfort of our society, and after the slavery period giving them equal opportunities and letting them walk free in our lands (one of them even became president of the richest country on the planet). We're so evil.

Ask any negro if he would like to go back to Africa and see by yourself if they give a crap if the evil White people took them from there.

  • @floghit You're defending a race that is currently spreading like a plague in the society that was built by your White ancestors. They're taking the jobs that was meant to be yours, they're sleeping with your women and breeding a mixed race (which will ultimately destroy the White race), they're destroying the culture your ancestors developed after centuries, they're receiving welfare that is paid by you, they're responsable for the increasing of crime rates, ...

  • @floghit @floghit (cont) belong here. All that should be more than obvious to you since you live in the United Kingdom and you should know that Europe was built without the help of slaves from Africa so they have absolutely no obligation to accept their presence in their territory (the same apply to Muslims and other scum that is currently invading the continent).

Though I know that I'm probably beating a dead horse, since the world is so full of sentimental leftists like you that is almost...
