with all due respect to apple, i have to say that the macbook air is just ridiculous. i mean, the basic premise is portability but you have to buy an external drive just to do something as simple as reading a cd or dvd! why would you want to do that just give it the extra, what, 2 cm? so that it can have the basic function of usb and cd drives and it would be a pretty nice machine! but jebus this thing is just terrible!
