Bud Ford is demonstrating some pretty aggressive body language there, getting into someone else's personal space, crossing his arms, beating his paper on the table repeatedly, raising his voice. You wonder sometimes how people get these jobs.

Where would this country be if our founding fathers only took what they could get? Sometimes what is right isn't easy. The media should show life as it is- not as a bully in an argygle sweater vest decides we should see it.
This is an extraordinary lesson on how to not conduct effective media relations. Bud Ford embarrassed himself, his profession, the University of Tennessee and its football program with this heavy-handed, bullying performance.
Further, the only one with any courage in that room is the WBIR news director, Bill Shory, the gentleman refusing to go along with Kiffin's and Ford's BS.
For that, Mr. Shory was just awarded an Ethics in Journalism award from the Society of Professional Journalists.
Too bad Bill Shorey and WBIR lawyers tried to get me arrested after I subpoenaed him to testify in State of TN vs Clifford Clark, about WBIR's propaganda contracts with City of Knoxville, Redflex and Lasercraft redlight scamera companies, that banned my TV coverage. COK law director Debbi Poplin lied that no contracts exist with media, when KNS brags on its front page about it's $20-million welfare from the taxslaves. FCC violation for WBIR to not reveal who pays for its "news". PirateNews*org
