I don't have much opinion about political parties, because I am registered undeclared. I am a woman. I do live in Alaska. Alaska has MANY strong, intelligent, independent and incredible women. I respect Palin for being a strong woman. However, the thought of her possibly becoming president terrifies me. I don't agree w/ the majority of her politics. I believe if she truly had our countries best interest in mind, she would have declined the offer of VP @ this time, do to lack of experience.

You know the actions and words of the left over these past eight years has been the biggest reason why I went from being a Independent to a Republican. Democrats seem bitter over Gore and Kerry, they did help get us into this war and even talked about WMD's in Iraq under Clinton. Congress has a lower approval rating than Bush, and Democrats would have you believe that the problems with the economy were caused by one man. Democrats run on the blame game and nothing good can happen under Bush.

The main reason Palin was chosen is because she's a woman and they are trying to get the Hillary vote. Even Palin herself said "I bet Obama regrets not picking Hillary now."
