Brewer thought she could cut programs for the poor & increase the sales tax & in that way balance the budget while still giving multi-million dollar contracts to her rich buddies

But her badmouthing Ariz has caused conventions to cancel, tourism to drop, businesses to close, ppl to leave the state including doctors, nurses & teachers, schools to close, foreclosures to soar & this has caused sales tax receipts to drop way below expectations

Will be 1st state to have bonds classed as junk

A few points...

1. This is all about Phoenix. Maricopa County's is the largest population in Arizona, butt it's mostly Republican. The guys should have spent $100 in gas money and showed the more dire results that will hit the rest of the state.

2. Think how difficult it is to conceive of an alternative to this film! The Democrats need a solid, exciting, appealing platform based on a goal that everyone can understand. What is it?

I used to live in AZ, and there are many murders in AZ that linked to the Mexican crime cartels. Brewer mistakenly said "beheadings," but she should have said "gunshots" or "murders." Many victims of Mexican cartels were brutally tortured before killed. Those murders are equally as sickening as beheadings. There were recent beheadings in Mexico by the Mexican cartels.

Phoenix is the #2 kidnapping capital of the world. Mexico City is #1.

@WheresWinston My point is that it's easy to hit on Brewer, but if you can't offer a credible, exciting, and memorable alternative -- a compelling vision -- people will gag on Brewer -- and then vote for her. After her debate debacle, her Rasmussen poll rating increased by 3%, further diminishing Goddard's numbers. When asked what he would do about it, he replied, "We're not changing anything. We're continuing to talk about the economy." Yawn. Does that make sense?

If Terry can describe in bright colors what his future job-rich Arizona will be like and what it will feel like to live in it -- "That's meaty!" as they say on The Dish -- he can score against the brutal greyness of Brewer's anti-immigration Arizona. It has no memorable features. For a Democrat to run exclusively on economy and jobs, however, given the current performance of the economy, is a risky contrarian strategy. Even better administration is stronger.

A special laugh-out-loud to WheresWinston -- Call me crazy, but I don't think this video was on quite the same budget scale of "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," probably the last movie you saw.

My favorite touch was the grim picture (what other kind IS there?) of Jan "The Man" Brewer on the newspaper.

I would estimate that this whole clip cost less than a hundred bucks to make, FAR less than Leather-puss Brewer spends on Botox every day.
