lmao, I about choked when you said nasty finger,, never heard that phrase. jmdenison will have to explain after she finds out from her hubby.. lol Thanks for the video mikey you rock.
okay, maybe we didn't need the "nasty finger" comment (i think my husband has to explain that to me), in any case, great video. like julia child, i like the way he fumbles (like we all do) and then recovers. very human, very nice.
if you want to know how much yarn for any project--make one motif out of your favorite yarn and hook. carefully measure it. the more motifs you make and join, the more accurage your count will be. weigh the one on a postage meter and multiply!
Ive never seen anything like that before. Very cool indeed! Im gonna have a crack at it. Its also nice to see someone that holds their hook the same way I do. I always thought I was weird! <3 Serene
Thank you for your patience in making this great videos.thank for the precious time you spent!I will making this yo yo and wanna try it in thread mercerized cotton, and I'm going to post it in your fb wall^^,
I've been watching your yo-yo vids and have a question. When joining I've noticed that sometimes you ch 1 before joining and then do two more chains and sometimes you join and then do your chain 3. Why do you do it differently?
The yo-yo blankets are beautiful, but I admit, I don't have the patience to make one. I have made some lovely Granny square blankets, however. Granny squares are so great for traveling, or waiting in a dock, or doctors office...portable, easy to bring along. And they can also be hexoganal. I have some Granny square pattern books from the 70's. They were all the rage in the "hippie" days! lol!
Can you teach us to make the yoyo, the stitches you used.
