@Kampfdackel Well not really, I've heard the english version and it isn't much better actually. It was pretty common in the early days that voice acting for games in general (no matter which language) was pretty bad. 1998/99 was the time were it began to get better.

Probably the games weren't taken that seriously back then and as they became more and more popular like movies they started to invest much more money and work into the voice acting. (For example in Mass Effect)

the greatest game ever, with the greatest songs. the one in this vid (the traveler) and "dimension 2012" (no regret level 8 - lunar defense battery) are the best!

I remember i was at office max when i was...idk little....and i was picking out school supplies...i seen this game in a bargain bin...i asked my mom if she could buy it for me...but she said no cause she said looked violent :(.....i could have MEMORIES LIKE YOU GUYS :( *cry*
