  • This is the song that made me really like her music! I first saw this video in 2007/2008 on the TV network Soul Sessions which is currently Centric; family to BET somewhat! I really like this song and video! I noticed that she used to go by Algebra Blesset but now she just goes by Algebra. I really looove her music though and I like this song and this video! Her music needs to be played on the radio more often b/c this is REAL music! I especially loove the violins in the background too!

  • Great Song Algebra......Keep singing and making great music. My 7 year old is sitting on the floor coloring and singing your chorus. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!!

  • themysteryrapper, What do you play other than HATE for music. Where is you track?

  • Oi, Mysteryrapper.

Stop catching feelings, its just a song.

If you ain't got nothing good to say .. then dont say nothing.

  • another thing... its nothing special... just another black woman singing what a black man AINT... once again... WOW she really breaks NEW ground here... by singing how she's Fed up" with her man Crap. And All the women can understand her right? because we as a people are self haters...and EMBRACE people who sing ANTI male. YES COUNTRY MUSIC DOES IT... but NOWHERE CLOSE to the amount that we do.

  • if you feel that way dont listen to the song.

  • mm mm mm. algebra is as equally fine as she sings. did i say that right? fuck it. lol. love you boo!

  • this is my sonnnggg!

  • U must suck because this is the style of the music. Not too many crazy licks and screeching sounds. Plus throughout the music industry in producing, entertainment, musician roles, and in singing, black people are everywhere. We are probably over represented in the music industry. Plus most producers are musicians, I personally know. Don't throw down good music for sake of the simplicity of the beat.

  • No, my point is "simplicity of a beat" and a loop on strings is ALL they are able to do. Forgettable music. And "screeching" comment..What was that supposed to mean? We are not Producing Music.. we are making BEATS and 8 bar LOOPS and then have heavy vocals.

The fact is... WE DONT PLAY INSTRUMENTS as seen in this video.

Check this out. WOULDNT IT BE NICE if this were a REAL BAND of girls..THAT will never happen. Beyonce's TEMPORARY band doesnt count either.

  • @serenadesilhout WE ARE NOT PLAYING INSTRUMENTS thats the point...

  • @themysteryrapper look up Esperanza Spalding, Mint Condition, Dwele, etc..

i do agree that the majority of r&b music speaks mostly about the disdain in our relationships and rarely sheds light or promtes positivity and normalcy. you can blame the higer ups in the music industry because they have the power over what sells and gets promoted to the radio. the artists' rarely have any say in that regard.

i wish more black people sang about true love instead of lust/depression/broken hearts lol

  • Damn this song sums up exactly what I feel right now- this is going to be my anthem for a while

  • Im not gone front Im a dude and this song is the truth

  • luv her cd

  • Algebra Blessett has captured the depth of Soul music in this track. Its all about chords and a clever resolution that many church piano players use. this is a very moving, sensual and hip sound. It defines the Genre of Neo Soul.

  • @themysteryrapper hw u kw tha u wuz thea

  • i love this song!

  • This song is beautiful.I feel like she was reading my mind when she wrote this song. I'm not going to give up on luv!!

  • this sing has a great vibe to it

  • I love this song. She's beautiful.
