no, the bike doesn't make 127hp, it makes 112hp at 13,500rpms, 6hp less than the 07-08

and the R6 isn't "faster" in every sense of the word. given two riders of exactly equal skill (impossible) the R6 may win on the track, but not in a drag race, and top speed is likely the same

if it's a track bike...but less than 5% of sportbike riders are track riders. and it's a tossup on the track between the CBR and R6, on the street it's no competition. To have the same light to light acceleration as the CBR an R6 must get a bigger rear sprocket, but then they've lost their top speed.

In the end most modern supersports are so close that it comes down to preference, but there's a reason the CBR600RR has won every middleweight supersport title since 2003

im 5'6 and i can get both feet on my toes. more comfortable to lean flat on one foot and put the other on the peg. also ive heard once the suspension breaks in you will be about a quarter inch lower which will help you out. you should be fine my man

I had an 07 gsxr 600 beat the piss out of it all the way up to 8k miles in 3 months, im about to buy the 09 cbr 600, i loved the gsxr600 and beat an 07 zx-6, r6, cbr 600, maybe its just cause i can drag off the line better but i beat all them. I love the way gsxr 600s are so slim where the seat is, almost like a dirtbike. ill deff have to get used to the wide seat on the cbrs.

How would you say this bike accelerates? Like, does it continue accelerating throughout the entire RPM range, or just at a certain point and beyond? Good low end AND high end torque? Or...? I'm stuck between this and a GSXR 600.

it pretty much does what u ask it to do if you grab a handfull at any rpm it responds the thing i like best is that when it responds it doesnt try to throw you off the bike its so smooth yet so powerful and ive rode a 07 r6 recently and the r6 wuz just as powerful just not as smooth dont get me wrong the 600rr has plenty of torque it just feels like you have such great control threw low end to high end i recomend the cbr 150% but ive never rode a gsxr so good luck man
