  • Looks like a Black Widow with a red stripe. i saw another vid of the redback and, it looked like it had red on the underside like a Widow.

  • thats a bad MF right yonder nthea'.

  • I'd let them go if I were you, once the eggs hatch there are gonna be a lot more spiders than 4. The babies would grow then mate even more. Imagine a whole jar filled with highly poisonous spiders. How'd you feed them anyways?

  • KILL IT..... AND STOP HUMPING!!!

  • lol its humping the sac

  • LOL.

  • whoa...it has 3 LEGS??!?!!!

  • KILL IT ...........

  • *graps a big ass math text book* -sqiesh-

  • I'd kill it if I were you.... Those things have a highly poisoness venom.

  • No shit sherlock..

  • the last death from a redback was in the 50s anti venom is reality available and they will not kill a human quick.

  • I dont understand people who are like kill it

just because you think its ugly

would you kill a baby if it was ugly ?

    no

    Spiders are very intelligent creatures

we get taught to do stuff like read and write

    Who teaches a spider ?

Know one it learns its self

    amazing

  • yeah but this one i would kill cause of its highly poisoness venom

  • i look after one at school and she was doing the same thing, spinning an egg sac.

  • o god, plz get a room and tell em 2 stop fuckin..

  • kill it before it kills you.....

i'm glad i'm live in holland (the netherlands!!)

  • it looked like it was humping it

  • nice vid,can u gime a advice?i got a brown widow spider i found it outside with 3 eggsacs with her ,i got it and store it inside my jar.well i want her to make more eggsacs but i dont kno wat to do?so i put a male brown widow inside?or does she just lay eggs by herself

  • Some spiders actually store the male spider sperm after mating and fertilise the eggs months later, so she might lay eggs herself without any need for the male spider. She will probably kill him (which would be fun to watch)

  • please kill it.

  • beautiful. and you got a good shot of the egg sack too!

  • sweet is she ur pet or u just found her?id u dont mind my asking

  • Yes she was a pet for quite a while, never had a name though...

I had about 4 different Red backs in bottles, they lived for nearly 2 years.

  • @markisrealcool wow! So did you keep the spider-lings or let them go? this is an amazing video!

  • Beautiful Latrodectus hasselti! I'd love to get one of those. My L. hesperus just died :-( She was gorgeous and I made several videos with her.

  • This was one of the biggest i'd ever seen when i got it, now i know why. She was just about to lay her eggs! I was very lucky to catch her in the act. For those that don't know, these spiders can stores the male sperm and therefore fertilise their eggs themselves!
