So was this a 302 or 4.6 cuz I have a 2000 mustang lx and we just picked up a 302 to drop in later. Did you have any troubles with this cuz we can't find a conversion kit or anything so we don't wanna jump into this without knowing any problems that could happen

your going to trade in a ford mod motor that is pretty much just as capable as the ls1 for a car with 20+ horses and 30+ lbs of torque if its a clean trade i guess its sounds good but kind of a waste there isnt a big difference

stroking means u get a crankshaft that is bigger so the piston goes up and down more.

They also say that a CAI will give you 15hp. Go look around some Mustang Forums and see what people are making with a built 281 or built 302. With similar top-ends they are making very similar power. Like within 5-10hp.

I'm not trying to be a smartass, but just hoping to disprove that myth you were fed. Look me up ZW99GT on here and streetfire I had a 5.0 2v that made 328/340 but when comparing it to 281's and 283's it wasn't much if any better.

I did my research, i have a stroker kit in my cobra and with longtubes and the stroker i picked up about 40RWHP, 40RWTQ..
