but speed isnt everything.

dont get me wrong, it's always fun to fucking tear up the neck. but i think you need to construct the solo better.

Honestly, it seems like he's just stacking scales or 124,123 (finger) patterns, it isn't just playing fast. So many people think speed is the only thing that matters but it's not. No offense, cause you're pretty good, but work on sweeping technique, you're picking down a little hard. It also seems like you're doing the same thing over and over after a while. Nice sweep patterns though. Also, just wondering, how much do you practice (on average) and what kind of thing do you practice?

uhm well this is my friend, you can ask him about some stuff. his youtube account is todd(something), which is in my friends. hes got some more vids of him playing there aswell. well i can tell you he has been playing for a year and a half or so and he probably practices atleast 2 hours a day.
