  • Yeah, I'm aware that Irish tunes go by different names, just wasn't sure if you knew that the "Old Favorite" was also called the Kilfenora. I'm a trad. Irish musician as well.

  • First tune is also called Kilfenora Jig. Try to find a recording of it by Martin Hayes and by Caoimhin O Raghallaigh.

    Recorded that one with some friends of mine..but lost it :(

  • We know it (and have recorded it on our CD, "Relative Minors" - track 7) as "Old Favorite". The interesting thing about many fiddle tunes is that they are known by different names in various parts...

    The second tune is The Roaring Barmaid, the last is Out on the Ocean.
