This game makes todays "hardcore" games look like childs play. It don't get much harder than Castlevania 1. Besides Ghosts n goblins and silver surfer....
Two mummies at the end of level 3. Frankenstein & Igor at the end of level 4. I remember me & my bro got stuck on Frankenstein fer a few days, and on the Saturday he woke me up to tell me he'd beaten Frankenstein! Well it was exciting when I was eight..
I never said I recorded this on the NES, I used an emulator, I meant Castlevania on the NES platform (the video description, which I will now edit to be more clear). And this was done in a SINGLE segment, NO SAVE STATES were used whatsoever. The slow downs are due to gfx enhancements (Scalex), and Fraps (the recording software).

I want this game on the real console for Christmas. Its supposed to be refurbished,
