You're basically the only person on youtube that makes actually good origami tutorials :) My only complaint is that the music is too repetitive, maybe mix it up so you don't have to listen to the same bit over and over until your model is finished. And thank you for not speeding it up, everything is slow paced and easy to follow, and my model looks very nice!!

Please advise people to use origami paper that is colored on both sides OR perform the tutorial on paper that is white on one side and colored on the other. The reason being that once the person has chopped up 30 pieces of paper and is beginning the project, it sucks to figure out which side should be facing up with every fold. And it's not one of those things people look for when they watch the tutorial first prior to doing it (if they even do that, which most probably don't do).

@reymatt76 honestly, its not that hard to figure out. u know u started with the wrong side up if the color isnt on the outside. assume u start with white side up, and if its wrong, just do it over. or if u really cant stand to do that, just buy some double colored paper.

@Faithpop98 No, your'e right it's not. But for beginners or intermediate levels it's a lot easier to follow along throughout the different folds if one side is white and the other is red (for instance).

@reymatt76 I went ahead and did the first part after coloring one side. I found in order to fold with the color on the outside you have to start folding with the color side up. that way when you finish it is shown off to the world. Hope this helps you as it did me. :)

@reymatt76 I just made it with a white-sided pieces of paper. In the steps when you make the individual modules, just be sure to fold with the color initially facing you and the white on the back, then it should turn out fine.

Okay, this has been asked a couple of times but never answered: How do you do it without having colors touch at the end? Can anyone help?

@Ransom90 There is a method but it's kinda hard to explain. If you look on one pentagon of the icosahedron you will see that around the edge three of the same colors will touch each other (I know that's really confusing). At :20 do you see how the icosahedron has 3 yellow units in the same place? That's the key if you don't want the same colors to touch. Just try your best to make each triangle the three different colors and you will eventually get it. Hope that helps.

@10030002051075 Oh just so i can. I like the thought of coloring your own paper so I don't have to worry about how the oragami pattern paper will make it. I use notebook paper and color it myself. It's cheaper that way too. I just like to make things a little more challenging to use 5 colors instead of 3 that way if i do it right the five sided sections will have one of each color. :)
