you can't do level 40 in 1. if you drop down to get the 1 extra coin in the bottom middle, you won't be able to jump back up and get over to the lower right.  gotta do it in a minimum of 2.

have to do it in minimum um 2 :S

I don't understand this, you can easily do level 40 in one run. You can reach the lower right platform from the lower middle platform with a simple double jump.

I tried so from the very start, since that was the only level in the game I didn't want to complete more than once. It took me about 800 deaths to finally reach the door.

Don't get me wrong, these videos are jamazing and I am in no way better than this guy (even though I got the 1010 achievement earlier tonight) but you can do Level 40 in one go.

Just after 6:30 when he jumps out from the little crevice you can see that he clearly could've gone down to the bottom-right platform.

I did this myself, but I had to do this level twice because I did not know there were 2 hidden coins in the collapsing blocks at the top!

Haha, so after I got up to needing only 38, 39, and SX, my save data poofed and I had to restart. It's fine though; instead of ending with 10k deaths, I ended with 1917. :D

keep it up! i just got all 1,010 earlier tonight. i died over 1,000 times on level 40 and my total death count at the end of the game was like 3,200 something. the key is to never give up.

sometimes i would get in a rut where I would start doing horrible, but then I'd have short periods of time where I'd be more on my game. I find the skid jumps incredibly difficult.

You can actually get 25/25 on one run on Lv.40, so it could have been better... not that I could do it.
