im a Indigenous boy from Victoria =) VERY PROUD! of being aboriginal but iam somthing called a halfcast i would like to think i have more aboriginal in me
@VicAnimals so-called "half-caste" people generally get the best qualities of both sides , which is contrary to the old bigoted bullshit people believed generations ago.
The black side must be the stronger though because people I've known with only a tiny bit of Aboriginal blood in them identify so strongly with their Aboriginality. You're right to be proud; I would be too.
I'm growing less and less proud of my own ancestry almost daily....
@grigorione Aboriginals burnt the land to increase its productivity, for after a fire there was a much greater range of annual vegetation. In fact these ancient people's entire way of being revolved around keeping an equilibrium between themselves and their environment. Their Dreamtime beliefs ensured that people respected the Earth their mother, and they only took as much from her as they needed to survive. As an Australian, I would never use the term destructive to describe their way of life.
@Kingtunice well australia was inhabited by aboriginals ancestorys about 40 000- 50 000 years ago. no 1 no how old it really is but about 20 000-30 000 years old culture, how ever it is the oldest culture what have survived until the modern times, but sad is that more and more pll are forgetting it becose aborginals does not do the same daily work they have done thousands years now they work in factortys etc also their selery is half from others, isn't that sad ?
The 'music' is telling a story, The iconology or as Europeans call it 'Art' is also mostly telling of a time and place but there are many different types here, from different indigenous Australian cultures and also neoclassical more modern Australian Aboriginal genres. The circles are classical campfire symbols of a meeting maybe a hunt maybe to record an event. I shouldn't be telling this. The' young girl from Brisbane' should be telling me.
Dear uploader (or anyone else who happens to know) can you, please, refer to the artist group and especially the singer that is performing the song. It just might be that it is a classical performance known to those who are close to this sphere of culture, but I'm not, and I would like to know.
Speaking of the tune, it certainly is fantastic :)
I'm so thankful for white people, because otherwise how the fuck else would I get cash at the train station? I say to my Coon Nigger brothers, "Praise the white Gods, sent to us by the Gondalla Snake Goddess Lord Prince Beast Whore." Oh shit, brb, my goanna's burning in the oven.
Hi I would like to comment on the use of the word 'DREAMTIME'... I am certain there was never a word for 'time' in any of the Aboriginal languages.... So therefore the correct terminology is 'DREAMING'... and the magic about that is Dreaming is the Present...
i wish we could all move back in time to the time of creation. The Aboriginal people were the first and most beloved of God. the story of his creation lives in this culture. We need to bring it full circle now. The world is dying for lack of God, we need to heed his call.
Whos needs a written language when these pictures and songs tell detailed storys, no wonder aborigines have such great memories these stories are many thousands of years old but are still rememberd
This song is just mighty! It activates something primordeal. Raises the anedralin, the awareness.. and it,s 500% creative. Painting myself blue and dance to this would be interesting... Brrrr... !! tjik tjik tjik :-o Hooooo! Brrr.. ahh!
I had a dream on the 1st May: The Old Ones made my mouth move, their message came out of my mouth:Within 2 years This Universe is Back into Dreamtime....The funny thing is: I am a dutch Guy....never had anything to do with aboriginal culture.....I had a death experience 2 years ago: I only see oneness, To me this Universe is part of a dream
I am healing from brain surgery & I came across this.....it is exactly what I needed to hear. Something about it is healing. I feel better everytime I play it....thank you to whomever posted it....!
Its my dream time I am in white society but i dont fit.I am only at peace in the bush with its life .then I,m home!Dreamtime storys put me at ease. when I cant escape the city i look ,listen too them.I am the lost boy. Dingo Dreaming! Seperated long time ago! How and when i dont know!My Dingo brother Persecuted don,t watch your step you,ll be exicuted! My Dingo brother! How i wish for the day we meet, and you plant your sweet kiss on my cheek. My Dingo Brother!
i have a grandmother and grandfather in dream time that had helped me heal when i was under my intense spirit initiations as a shaman, and they are alive today somewhere in australia, so wherever you are grandmother grandfather those few months with you saved my life here in the us as a light skinned woman being initiated and i send raven from the northwest to deliver my prayer of great thanks to you wherever you are!
Dreams are fascinating, but to really learn about it one should read book by M. Tuthamenhaten "The Fourth Sapphire Tablet of Malkhytzedek Tuthamenhaten-DREAMS", but the music is cool!!
only after the last fish has been caught and the last tree fallen and the last creek comes dry then did we not teach them money is not for eating ........
Amazing. I like to run this video at the International Fair 'Australia' booth which I've volunteered to run in June in Israel at the American International School.
One time i dreamed walked to madagaskar off the shore off afrika, and i saw this beautiful stone, and then i knew where the aboriginal dream walkers found the design for their painting... so cool. Then a few years ago, the stone madagaskar ocean jasper was discovered off that coast and now i use it as a healing stone in my work to reduce the electricity of the electro-magnetic field balance of a humans emotional body. : )
i have an amaZin indigi original pencil of dreamtime .. have had it for 25+ years .. adore!

@cpiMan666 many academics believe that Australia may have been inhabited up to 120 000 years ago, but most say at least 60 000 years.
