Taping is one way, stretching is another. there are some good stretching videos to see as well as some good articles I found on hamstringinjuryhq which is a dot com in case you need more info.
dude i had the same thing tonight during my soccer game, i coulden't run if i did anything more then joging it was like a burn in my quads. im not sure if i have to skip practice etc to heal them up if there torn.
just in about mid december i pulled my hamstring near the buttox, sat our for a while finally healed after about 3 weeks(so i thought) than it hit around the beggining period for track training, than just 4 days ago i pulled it again more near my knee
WHAT DO I DO!!!
will i be able to run the same or will it a take a really long process?
that's common to pull a hamstring high, then injure it down by your knee on return. i did the same thing this year. i can't tell u what to do about it though.
i know this was a year ago when you put this comment up but when did you feel 100% again? i think hamstrings take a long time to heal 100% and more importantly it takes a very long time to gain the strenght and explosiveness back in the quad and hamstring. not to mention getting confidence to run hard on it. let me no how long it took you to gain everything back
