Some people keep saying that machines are useless or something along that chain of thought. Freeweights provide a better control over your muscles, but certain muscles are somewhat complicated to train with free weights since gravity always pulls the weight down. Machines solve this problem by using cables and pulleys. Your results are dependent on your technique not if you use freeweight/machines.
no offence but it took 2:30 mins to explain something that is useless and for only one machine when those things have instructions on them. This vid and the pic on it is trash dont waste your time here.
Yeah, free weights are really good ESPECIALLY for beginners or else you end up all unsymmetrical and weak in one arm. Dumbells are best for being symmetrical and balanced.
