@USMarineRifleman0311- While it is true that Great Britain was forced to lose some of it's colonial countries,I believe that this was due to the fact that many of these countries were simply to far away for the British to effectively protect them. Plus,for approximately two years they were the last man standing. I know the United States was helping financially but they were not fighting until '41. Good documentary either way.

This is a great series and I understand that it's an American production and American stories,but wow. To hear it put forth here;they would have you believe that B-17 bombers and P-51 Mustangs won the Battle of Britain. Don't get me wrong. They made a huge contribution,but they might also have mentioned that a few others were fighting too. Just sayin'. Lol.

Britain is the only worthy other ally worth covering...except for the small fact that since 1940-42, they were surrendering and retreating on all fronts from Norway, SE Asia to North Africa (to some extent)

The US version of WW2 story telling is only told as one continous offensive and hardly a setback

I can not believe how epic the ending to this unepisode is...gives my shivers and tear up like I cant believe. WW II in my opinion defined the human race and how, from 1938-1945, The good will of the world united in defeating evil. Plain and simple.

your welcome, seeing these make me tear up, i just cant get over the fact of knowing what people sacrifice for our country, 415,000 Americans were killed during this war, and i cry every time i hear that, because, if it weren't for those people, we would not be a country as we know it

@kar98k1000 It was a great sacrifice but is very small in comparison to what the Soviets went through sufferring close to 30 million casualties in WW2. It only shows how bloody this war really was.
