I realy don't know why i/we spend so long programming clever sequences, the punters would not not notice if the scanners jumped off the the bar and danced on the floor.............. Well perhaps they might, if they had crashed into the lighting stand as one very drunk bridegoom did recently. I just managed the catch the stand before my public liabilty insurance got badly hurt.

I'm pretty sure I got my 2x Mojo 3 scans off the same guy on e-bay. I think I got 2 of the last 4. I got two lamp holders the same but no lamps, no power cord and no spare gobos. I have been playing around with the mojo scan 3s, the mojo spinmaster 1 and a now very out of date Source manufacturing "Jazz". Unfortunately the DIP switches on the Jazz have been altered accidently and I cannot find the manual (not even on the internet) oh well a little project for the new year then!

yes very true - the two moving heads are rarely used apparently cause no-one can be bothered to program them! - one day I'll go and sort them out. anyway thanks and have a good christmas.

actually that is true that i cba to programm them but tbh i think that there worse than the mojos so thats why we prefur to use the scanners

nothing like a bit of extra endorsement of the mojos is there sam! if we both admit that we can't get that controller to program stuff in, one day those moving heads may start working!

(for those of you who don't know, sam works down the school as a caretaker who potters about in the theatre, dropping lights and making dangerous 3-phase power supplies out of MDF)

When it comes to DMX controllers I find its best to spend that little bit extra money to get a good controller. A good bit of software is the American DJ myDMX (About £ 120) and a good desk top one is the Chauvet Obey 40 (about £90 When I bought it).
