  • Rooster teeth podcast ftw

  • No need to hide it. Obviously scenes were recycled, and honestly I understand.

What you see before you is MILLIONS of dollars of saved budget for other scenes.

  • Micheal Bay is such an assclown.

  • What the Fuck?

  • bay used same shoot, is like the chase in Bad Boy 2, but is not, is recycle...good for the enviroment...

  • In the actual cinematografic and musical panorama, sampling scenes is completely normal. If you want new scenes (which costs a lot to do), buy movies and music. Haters can fuck themselves! If they deserve the oxygen in this world at least!

  • RT podcast FTW

  • LOL the same truck on the left

  • wow thats funny they used stoock footage shure as hell

  • First off all!! Thats a Micheal bay film so he have all the right to copy the film and put it in transformers 3 and fuck you lol!!!

  • @XzEpicMusicVideoszX I don't think it's about "stealing", it's rather funny to see how they re-use assets from a movie to another. CARS 2 uses many paris buildings from ratatouille, only that they reskinned them.

What's sad is that they kept the shot in transformers 3, and didn't reintegrate (and rerender) the island car crash animation. As such there is an inconcistency in the scene. There are barriers on the freeway from the siland that aren't there in transformers 3...

  • @startide Yea there are some barriers that are not in Transformers 3 But they look similar

  • If Michael Bay is so smart then how come all of his movies are so dumb?

  • @quasiknorto Because it has nothing to do with beeing smart. Either you like it or don't, that's quite irrelevant to the main topic : handling such a massive project is quite an undertaking. Very few people would be able to do what he does, really.

Look at the bonus in transformers 2 DVD, and see the strain put on the director, it's pretty impressive. It must take a lot of guts to deal with that kind of movie.

    Kudos to him !

  • @quasiknorto If his movies are so dumb, how come his net worth is over $200 million?

and you are probably worth 5 cents?

  • there r certain A-h#les who copy da story, charecters, n any less but cr#p from othr movies, shift ur pea sized brain to them whoevr criticizing 'this, n by d way the island was Directed by Michael Bay.

n who didint likd d film tk my suggestion n watch 'HUMPTY DUMPTY' cartoon...

  • wait! my comment is nt posting.....

  • ROOSTER TEETH!!!!!

  • Conclusion|? Michael Bay saves money and risks --. he is smart. Who cares that these scenes were recycled. I loved the film anyway.

  • Also, wtf is RT? I'm here cuz I saw it online :P

  • The whole movie sucked anyway...

  • I dont see anything wrong with this! This is kinda cool!

  • conclusion : Michael Bay sucks !

  • The Fallen cant kill a Prime. Megatron killed Prime. So technically Megatron is stronger then the Fallen. So why does he take the orders from him?

  • This was done due to an extra becoming seriously injured during the filming of the original shot. Do your research.

  • This is easter egg, people...

  • It's called Recycling you morons!

  • uhh cheap way to use film instead of spending more money on destroying a car and risking more lives..? df outta here Michael Bay is fk'n smart.

  • The shot from 'The Island' was inserted after an accident that occurred during filming of that particular chase scene in 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'. A tow-cable snapped, hitting film extra Gabriella Cedillo and resulting in a serious head injury, leaving her paralysed. This is extremely tragic, and our thoughts go out to Gabriella and her family. Thumbs up so people can see this instead of hating

  • Friend you are good thank you

  • Rt Podcast!

  • Michael Bay Stupid

  • @TheGarfieldxx30000 he makes better movies than you

  • To cut cost and save the budget so that you bunch of smart ass can see more bots actions =.=

  • RT Podcast!!

  • fail!!!!

  • thumbs up if you are sent by the RT podcast

  • What a fucking cheap way to use film... Oh and rt podcast sent me :3

  • @jsanch12 Note: They hate when people comment like this (drunk tank)

  • keven sent me

  • RT podcast!!

  • @ShiftySableye Note: They hate when people comment like this (drunk tank)

  • Someone has scene board.

  • NPR!!!

  • the reason for the copy paste here is because when they filmed this part a crew member died and in respect for that person they didn't use the scenes that were filmed with him dying in it.

  • @gammasan55 lol what!?!

  • @dcorps Good luck proving him wrong without Wikipedia.

  • @GhostHunt101 actually you can still use wikipedia. just hit stop right when the webpage loads BEFORE it goes black.

  • @blahethanblah Oh, now I can do my Coursework, thanks mate :D

  • Drunk Tank yayaya

  • Smart. Copy Pasta smart. Save money.

  • Drunk Tank

  • While I will say the Mr. Bay isn't the most ingenious filmmaker in the world, this is a pretty common practice in the industry.

  • Conclusion ? We don't really give a damn. Michael Bay is the Boss ! Yet, Thank you for the info anyway.

  • You were sad enough to do this? Transformers is a good film that all ages can watch... you Jelly? This is just being smart :P

  • haha, lazy bastard...but it reduces the expenses:)

  • о_О

  • CTRL C CTRL V

  • 場面の使い回しは、他のでも普通に行われてるはず

  • An extra got badly injured and therefore he reused the shot

  • Wow! Awesome observation! I would have never saw that!

  • The scene was re-used because of the accident that happened to an extra on set, so no need to to put all the hate on Michael Bay.

  • @Captain00KIrk didn't they hurt a girl in a car accident scene? she's like paralized now right?

  • @JereTrinidad Yep.

  • @Captain00KIrk Yeah and she wanted to become an actor as well witch is pretty sad now :( the family was gonna file a law suit against them correct? o_o

  • @JereTrinidad Yep. $350,000 to be exact.

  • Reciclyng: if you dont, you are an idiot. Stop bitching about it its cool anyways, pluss he add some decepticons to it

  • FUCK Michael Bay

  • So here-used a few 2 second shots, whats the big deal?

  • they were both there at the same time magicaly

  • Disney did it 60 years ago, so....

  • Conclusion? Michael Bay is lazy.

  • Totalmente desnecessário , as vezes Michael Bay se porta como um diretor de quinta categoria !!

  • i don't care, the scene is good.

  • I looked it up,they're both directed by Michael Bay

  • Michael Bay fuck transformers

  • Psh It's a moot point anyway....nobody saw The Island lol

  • @poncemon I did, and the entire freeway chase scene was the highlight of the entire movie. Notice how in Michael Bays films, he seem to have very short frewway or road chase scenes? The best Bay chase scene was Bad Boys 2... epic awesome destruction.

  • conlcusion? es un webon! :)

  • I always knew that Michael Bay is retarded sick fuck too lazy to make the whole work right.

  • @AydarBMSTU the reason this happend is because a worker was injured while they were filming the highway chase and injured worker was sueing paramount due to their injuries just look it up they had to do this cause the scene wasnt complete.

  • so like... whats the deal? its not up for debate - they reused the same footage. whatever, dont blame me for not paying to see your movies.

  • It's an inspiring thing when people recicle even movies

  • Yeah I remember thinking in Transformers 3, "I know he's a Decepticon and evil and everything, but does he really have to just pick cars up that are not in his way and just throw them for no reason?"

I guess there was a reason, to make the duplicated scenes make sense lol

  • ami me vale que pase es una magnifica pelicula grandes efectos ademas un remake es bueno cuando el original es increible conclucion michael bay es increible el mejor

  • This makes sense 'cos Bay ALWAYS tries to sneak in a shout -out from his previous movies into his newer ones

  • that's how to save money

  • Excelente historia pero te comunico que me la suda... xD :yao-ming:

  • wat is wrong with him using the same scenes from his own movies? he didn't steal them, he just wanted to save money because those scenes will cost him millions

  • is that a bentley

  • Hilarious!

  • It makes complete sense in this economy to find ways to incorporate money saving scenes into a multi-million dollar movie. He's not daft for doing this. Besides its just tid-bits.

  • OMG facts?

  • Siiii, soy el pajuo Mundial De Transformres 3... pero sera que algún Día ustedes dejaran de Comentarme el Vídeo... :@ :@ Ya Transformres 3 paso, y es una Shit....

  • @cinefilojermain23 Dude cool video i'm venezuelan too. A tu inglés le falta pulirlo un poco hahaha. Vi la peli y no me gustó por cierto.

  • I just saw this movie for the first time (never heard of it until it was on TV last week) and was like, this looks like all his other movies, he's pretty one dimensional but it's entertaining slop.

  • and seriously who can watch a chase scene in a movie and say "hmmmm i swear i saw this exact car wreck happen in another movie"

  • Michael Bay is a friggin' hack. Why do people pay this idiot money?

  • who gives a shit, nobody watched The Island anyway!

  • u have ALOT of time on your hands....

  • @dharshcr seeing as this video got 3 million views, it was worth his time

  • @chazmataz25 i din say he/she wasted his/her time..... im just saying that she/he has alot of it... to actually notice this....

  • the scene is the same, because the film director is the same in each film.....and anyway, he had said that for this movie he had used some old scenes.....there're some scene from "pearl harbor" too........

  • Aqui que? todos son gringos? comenten en español pendejones!

  • It seems that in film industry is also used Copy-Paste...

  • Cool story bro...

Why do you care? It looks good, it costs less... it's all good.

Just like the train crash in super 8, it will probobly be used in some other movies too... cuz it looks good :)

  • @ILIYYILI You are a cancer.

  • @Jallandhara Really?

Is that because you play wow all day long?

  • The Star Wars is still many times better!

    This movie is crap!

  • Its a freakin copy man, and don't make excuses out there for Michael Bay if a stunt man is injured then hire another one and improve safety used on cite, or at least don't make it obvious like they did come on!

  • michael bay had to recycle this part of the movie because the stuntman got serously hurt during shooting.

  • RECYCLE :) Nothing wrong with that!

  • pathetic

  • @rafeiro1993 Why? It's like 5 seconds of footage and it looks fitting.

  • What the ship Paramount? What the ship?

  • continued.

are you meant to infer they recorded such an announcement but didn't use it?

yet it shows the newsreel type footage as if to say otherwise. that is in the theatrical release yes? or is it not then?

  • at the start of this film Transformers 3, when the astronauts find the old ship etc on the Moon - and it shows footage of news on Earth & everyone being told about the discovery.....why was that part in the film?, cause in the film people WEREN'T told about that original discovery, and nothing is mentioned as to why the footage at the start says otherwise! (Prime hints at it, when he says they were lied to about people knowing about them, but - it still doesn't make sense).

  • EVERYTHING IS A REMIX

  • DRUNK TANK

  • Drunk Tank, anyone? :)

  • 0_o

  • Oo

  • Comment removed

  • Yup I noticed that shit too. Same location also

  • im not sure about michael bay, but whoever did the plot for transformers 3 didnt do a bad job compared to transformers 2!

  • @pokewiz309 Hey don't make fun of tf 2 besides who cares if Bay barrowed 5 seconds of one of his other films. No biggy, it saved him time so he could realise it sooner.

  • @MrMandude365 im not, im just sayign tf3 was waayyy better in my opinion. and i wasnt caring about bay borrowing 5 seconds (it seems like a brillient idea to me!) im just saying the plot was better in tf3 than in tf2, gosh

  • @pokewiz309 I wasn't refering to you carring about barrowing footage, I ment everyone, but for some reason my computer wasn't letting me post 2 coments on the same video. So I combined my 2 coments to reply to you and tell people I don't care about barrowing the footage. Sorry about that.

  • @MrMandude365 oh, sorry from me too then, but i think the moment he put it in was genius, why make a perfect destruction scene better? lol

  • haha, this is AMAZING!

Incredible how they used the old footage and then blended it in with the new CGI. Really, really amazing.

Now I'm not sure if I'm supposed to look this from the described positive side and the fact that movie producers can be so inventive, or if I'm supposed to think of this as a rip-off and a cheap pass...

Though the Transformers trilogy was already kinda dumb in the first movie, then got dumber in the second one and finally went shit in the last so I just idc anymore.

  • i really had hoped that michael bay didn't direct the transformers movie, maybe he didn't even watch the original cartoons

  • kewl, i've seen the island which was a great movie, but still haven't seen transformers 3

  • Well....that.......was a business strategy.

  • Michael bay u lazy fuck

  • Triple-U Michael Bay, Triple-U

  • Holy jesus christ, well.. if you ever need solid tangible proof that Bay is a bonafide HACK.. just watch this video. Seriously, this is gayer than an orgy of 50 AIDS ridden construction workers.

  • Aww well that sucks:(

  • would have been better, than used footage of others cameras of this scene from The Island and not exactly the same footage !!

  • yeahhhh !! Recycle scenes !!!, jajajajaja !!

  • The reason Bay reused the footage from 'The Island' is that the during the filming of the original footage, a crew member was badly injured, and so it was felt it was inappropriate to use the footage for the film.

  • @christophotographic he told u that? and even he really told u that, u think its true?

  • WTF ??? 0_O

  • Nice catch- here's some other cliches too..

    youtube.com/watch?v=jEippUqLL0k

  • @HELLOPEOPLEPEOPLEHI That's something I did not know. That's pretty tragic. Still, I'm sure they had plenty of unused shots they could have used. I would still argue that it comes off as unprofessional in modern film making using the exact same shot like that. Not that I credit Michael Bay at being a competent storyteller. Not everything as to be Citizen Kane. I like mindless entertainment too. But the Transformers movies didn't even do that for me. Honestly I didn't bother with 3, anyway.

  • Michael Bay is just the WORST.....his movies are awful, the only thing that saves them are the effects.

  • I don't think the point is that he ripped off something from someone else's movie. Both are his. I think the point is that such a blatant use of recycled stock footage is lazy filmmaking.

  • @KyleD42485 I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but it should be noted that they didn't plan on using the shot from the island, but they had to because the stunt they shot led to an accident which left permanent mental damage on the stunt driver.

  • if you wanna see the full movie DVD quality online, go here

    /watch?v=y7__Lcx8_DE

now thumb me up for being so damn generous

  • so what ? both are his movies ;)) so he can do whatever he want :P

  • llorones

  • you gotz owned

  • Watch the armored van in the first scene. Dissappears.

  • The movies of his both, so Bay can do that.

  • The point?

Theyre both HIS movies so he can do that..
