@MrSteeleye If there is not that exquisite piano (recording of a good friend of I who generously gives me the right to use this track with no royalty) ... there would be the usual chatter of an train show with any kind of dumb comments from uninterested bystanders, kids screaming, whatever. AND the digitized sound of the modern DCC models IS COPYRIGHTED and CAN'T be reproduced here. So ...
I wished that my French was a good as your English. Anyway, thank you, again, for posting these fine videos! The building that houses this lay-out is extraodinary (i.e. vintage, classy, and grand). Parfait!!!
@captainmorgan757 Hello ;-) I'm sorry to disapoint you but the building is only a municipal sports arena used for indoor baseball/handball. That event where we were invited was organized by the local RR modelers of Argenton sur Creuse (very good food there Mmmmm!). The rest of the year, the layout is in boxes in a cellar :-(
Hello, et merci. Ce réseau est visible lors de meetings dans la partie Alpes et Sud Est de la France. Pour l'instant, pas de date prévue pour une nouvelle sortie, depuis l'annulation de l'expo ferroviaire de Miramas.
I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed watching these videos. Very nice with the easy music. Is the Class J N&W 4-8-4 a Bachmann or a Broadway limited model? Or is it another all together?
Thank you for taking the time writing this kind notice. This is a Broadway Limited (BLI) model. With my friends at the club, w own many Rivarossi and BLI models. As for the music, besides the fact that I like, I happen to co-own the property rights for it. That helps!
Thanks. I've posted many videos of that club layout, check for "LBTA". That machine is from Broadway Limited. It's a great machine, and the built-in sound generator enhances the running experience.
Hello, We've got several deployment footprint. Usually, it's 5x10 meters, but we also have for some rare occasions a 5x15 configuration. This layout is 15 years old. IT has known many versions since then. Still, we have some issues that are waiting resolutions, as for instance a way to quickly swap consists of over 50 cars (our big speciality!). Thanks for your comments.
These videos make me want to go to HO scale instead of O-guage that I'm into now because HO scale is less expensive and takes up less space!!! Plus I can run bigger engines because they are cheaper.
@Frabas02081912. This is exactly what we're doing. We've done most of the track work. We still have to finish building the several bridges that - first - will span the large canyon of the wooden trestle, plus a few others where scenery needs it. I've done all the soldering for the 3 diamond crossings. Most of the scenery work is complete. In 2011, I'll have some newer footage to post. Stay tuned.
What a shame the locomotive sounds were completely drowned out by that bloody piano.

The loco was made by Broadway limited It is a class A. The cars were made by Rivarossi, 25 years ago. the second tender is Broadway limited
Several firms should make N&W passenger cars since 2 years, but today I did not see anything coming.
Enjoy

Nice video of a great looking model and layout.
I think the music volume could have been lower though, so we can hear the sound from what sounds like a good sound chip on that loco.

@tvnshack Mine suggestion is to create a seperate rail for building up the 50 car trainset.
