Had a great time when i came across Emule after some very early days of downloading stuff ( but only none copyrighted files) and were it still is a very handy downloading client for hard to find rare files and there is a still big dedicated community some right die hard fans , when i went from dial up to Bband and then found torrenting and the speeds that you could download at an even upload at,it just for me personally blew Emule away.

I can never get speeds beyond 23 kilobytes per second cause I'm behind a damn router and get a low id. Universal Plug and Play dosen't work worth a crap for some reason.

im behind a router too, you have to open 2 port in order to change your lowid, UPNP never worked for me. im uploading at 60KB/s, and downloading at 13 KB/s, i preffer to use Utorrent, im a demonoid user, i never liked that emule thing.

Listen if u want ur emule to hve high speed downloading wen it askes u about wat ur connection is like cable and etc. u click custom then download random pics and music then people will start to download from you because u downloaded it and then wen u get lots of ppl to download from u emule will make ur download speed go up :D and there is about 75 million ppl using emule it wont take very long lol my friends download speed was 220 kb now it 3 mb a sec
