I like reusing stuff because it's cheaper than buying. So many things we reuse though gets thrown away right after we reuse it. Doesn't keep it out of landfills for long. I reuse all of my plastic grocery bags. Trash can liners. Really, all those "reusable" shopping bags are full of plastic packaging that goes in the trash, including trash can liners in a "cardboard" box! Our government needs to regulate packaging. The plastic revolution began "to save trees". Renewable resources are available.

Instead of just recycling the middle portion you can actually use it for jewelry-cut it into shapes and use them as beads or use the whole circle as a bracelet cuff. I also use the caps to mix paints in when I do projects.
