I am crazy, little did she know thats how they were planning to end her stay in springfield. I remember she would become Ross's wife then she ends up insane and sent away, If im not mistaken I believe she was the one who murdered Alan's secretary. thats when i first started watching the show, 1981..
@VenusMonkey I seemed to have had a little,ESP concerning GL.When Joe Ballard opened his door,he had a are you kidding me look on his face. I told my family ,I think Carrie ,is the killer,and I was right.When Alan brought back a bandaged man to the hospital,I told them I think thats Roer Thorpe. I remembered that he was left -handed and when he wrote a note ,using his left hand,it WAS Roger!!! Douglas Marland was a BRILLIANT WRITER!!!
@twain103 Wow, I thought I was observant, but you take the cake...lol. Doug Marland was brilliant, I really miss the writing we had on the classic soaps. That is the biggest downfall of soaps today.
@VenusMonkey I got re-hooked on GL ,when Alan and Hope were stranded,and watched with the comings and goings of Roger Thorpe. I there was a married couple (writers) who wrote for GL. Fran Myers aka Peggy Thorpe,real life husband ,Roger Newman,aka,Ken Norris ,also wrote for the show. I see on IMDB ,that he has passed away ,2010.
Jane Elliot played Carrie and did a bang up job of it. She later went on to play the infamous Tracy Quartermaine on GH to superb perfection. Ross is on One Life to LIve now so tracy should come over to One life to Live and have a fling with Ross
One of GL best storylines "CARRIE Todd,Anderson, McKinsey, Marler. Too bad her storyline ended with Allen Potter pulling the plug--ending with head writer Douglas Maryland leaving.

Wonderful how we see signs of Carrie's multiple personality disorder this early, even when she gives Ross "that look"...
