i do agree that a7x was WAY more hardcore back then. But in my opinion they are still very good. My fav cd is "Waking the Fallen" and this is my favorite song.. However, songs like "Save me" and "Nightmare" are still very good. They may be a little "slower" than what they used to be. But they are still amazing. If you dont like there music, why are you here?

@Element0A7X It's true, they have changed much. They're not metalcore anymore. But to my mind their songs have gotten more original and creative. The melodies since City of Evil have become better and the songs generally are less static and more organic. I like both, real metalcore and those soft power metal or even rock - kind of songs.

i think i see wat he/she is saying. i wouldnt say grew as musicians but with their new music they have shown another side, a more broader side where mostly syn has expanded his talent in his solos and such.but the rev's drumming i think was more badass in sounding the seventh and waking the fallen.
