I didn't think his design was too bad. The attenae aren't protruding but that makes him look a little different. The outfit isn't too shabby either. The wrinkles in the pants look exactly like in the anime! \m/

piccolo looks like he is the truest to his character and apparently the actor that plays him had to tell the directors to make him green which proves directors of that movie = fail

Batman's been revised tons of times in DC Comics, Dark Knight was still faithful to the theme

this movie however is something completely different, it is an adaption, but completely devious of the source material

Yeah.... some series decide to stay completely on track and as true to the old fans as possible... but some choose to deviate and go to a new script. (Like the plot for Naomi Misora in Death Note.)

(BTW, that was the best live-action Joker I've ever seen. Way to GO Heath Ledger.)

they havnt invested enough money into the cgi to make it look real, the main character looks nothing like goku and judging by the trailer hes an unconfident serious person, rather than the happy go lucky goku from the cartoon.

and in the trailer he does a kamehameha with one hand >_> unless they were just shouting it for no reason and then showed a random clip.

and they should have made piccalo a darker green

I'm not too happy with the movie either, but I understand when it comes to making changes. Fox changed a lot of things for X-Men and Spider-Man. For example: Peter's first love interest was Gwen Stacy, and he didn't know MJ until later, yet in the movie, they've been friends since they were little. Don't bash me for "defending" this movie, because I'm not.

because it will suck. man, most of us gave this movie a LOT of chances but it is not true to the original is any way possible. the LEAST we asked for was the nature of the characters to remain the same (eg. goku=calm, trusting, hopeful, naive, brave etc.) but after even that was changed i dont even think if we can call this dragonball.
