Jane Monheit is a terrific and creative talent and I love her singing. I detect the spirit of "Mel Torme" in this recording. She has superior vocal ability and she will be one of the great vocalists of our time.
Unfortunatly uncomparable to Nina SImone... While Nina really got into this song with strength and convictions, Jane is just softly whispering words... Nice try anyway
